What a haunting song. This is from John Lennon' demo he made in 1977. Yoko gave the demo to Paul McCartney while they were making the Anthology in 1994. They couldn't have pulled it off without Peter Jackson and former Beatles producer George Martin's son, Giles. Nevertheless enjoy the song.

Here’s the small documentary video of behind the scenes how they pulled it off.

You’re welcome! Have one for me.
Many thanks. Appreciate your posts.π
As someone who grew up with the Beatles this is both beautiful and haunting.
I love it.

The use of AI freaked out people, but Paul insisted it was only done to accomplish the previously impossible task of separating John’s vocal from the piano. A job well done.
I like it. Layers. I guess Rick Beato liked it. What’s not to like?
A friend of mine met John in the late 1970s, he installed carpet and he got an order to lay down carpet in two rooms in the Dakota and it was Lennons. He said one room was all white and the other all black and there were cassette tapes all over the floor. He said he was a funny guy, like a kid playing with his son Sean who must have been 3 or 4 back then. What’s bizarre is a few months ago I saw this video of John getting a warning that he’s going to be assassinated..........https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndRyKPTl2Vo&ab_channel=PRcabj12
That’s wild. Thanks for posting that.
Hard to not get emotional watching this.
I am unimpressed and underwhelmed. It sounds like a heavily glazed, fruit cobbler casserole of B-Sides, one stacked directly behind the previous portion. It sounds weak, aimless and even unnecessary.
I’m guessing it is Paul who keeps wanting to tinker with ‘improve’ and repackage 45 y/o merchandise.
Paul was always the most pragmatic and commercially minded of the four.
He’s had some grand marketing ideas in the past.
As most of you know, the Srgt. Pepper campaign was his idea to rebrand themselves, and become a little less well known.
it even sounds artificial
Looking to watch Rick Beatoβs video later tonte
George was the only Beatle who did anything worth listening to after the breakup.
It’s not my favorite but I wouldn’t skip the track.
I liked all their solo stuff after the breakup.
