A friend of mine met John in the late 1970s, he installed carpet and he got an order to lay down carpet in two rooms in the Dakota and it was Lennons. He said one room was all white and the other all black and there were cassette tapes all over the floor. He said he was a funny guy, like a kid playing with his son Sean who must have been 3 or 4 back then.
