Here’s the ‘nut’of the long article;

Overall, 69% of Democrats said misinformation headlines in our study should be removed, but only 34% of Republicans said the same; 49% of Democrats considered the misinformation headlines harmful, but only 27% of Republicans said the same; and 65% of Republicans considered headline removal to be censorship, but only 29% of Democrats said the same.

Misinformation is free speech- there should be noone trying to throttle it. It is not the governments job to determine what people can see or hear. Once a government starts censoring free speech, they become tyranical, drunk on their new found power- we saw this with Biden working to censor speech through social media

I enjoy asking these “disinformation must be banned” people if the “flat Earth theories” should be banned. CLEARLY that’s disinformation, right? I’ve yet to have one tell me that it should be banned. It’s kinda weird when you think about it.

The other side believes that “misinformation” is anything that contradicts their “narrative” or subverts their propaganda.
