O Lord, the hope of Israel, all who forsake you shall be put to shame; those who turn away from you shall be written in the earth, for they have forsaken the Lord, the fountain of living water. Prayers for your Uncle.
Thank you Father, for this man’s life. Since we know he’s a believer, our prayers concentrate on his remaining time on earth. Father, may his latter days be greater than his former days, and he declare the great and mighty works of the LORD. Give him peace and relieve his pain. If it be your will that he live and not die, strengthen his body and heal him, I pray. In Jesus Name, amen.
As a testimony, A church friend recently went home to be with the LORD. 2 weeks prior to his death, he found out his lungs were full of cancer, which had metastasized to much of his organs. Yet he died in almost no pain. And not just from pain meds. The little pain he did have was relieved by pain meds.
