This is crazy and serious enough to warrant a police investigation. Meanwhile, how did someone get a tenure-track job at a prestigious state university who says that “their” scholarly focus is “on the interplay between sound, race, gender, and embodiment.” They must’ve written a heckuva DEI statement.

It’s now much easier for marginal candidates to get these jobs. Universities have quotas. They have much pressure on them to hire minorities. They have people working full time trying to find candidates. They’re under much pressure not to hire or promote whites. The same is true for corporations.
