In a thrilling clash straight from the heart of Australia, a courageous Aussie man found himself in a high-stakes showdown with a menacing kangaroo hell-bent on drowning his beloved dog in the depths of a river. Mick Moloney, a resident of Mildura, Victoria, was strolling along his usual path near the Murray River on October 14th when he realized that one of his faithful companions was missing. While it’s a national symbol roos are plentiful and considered pests by the farmers down under. It’s one of the reasons you can buy their meat in some but not all grocery stores down under. Tastes like beef with somewhat less fat in it.
That kangaroo looks like a weightlifter with big claws. Definitely not a “cute” kangaroo.
I did not know that kangaroos could speak English before reading the headline. I just learned something new.
Damn, that was creepy. The thing looked like an alien standing there....
The claws are bad enough, but look at The muscles on that thing… it’s RIPPED!!! Looks like a fur covered body builder!!!
It looks like it’s flexing in the second picture…
Yeah… Straight out of a nightmare for sure… Imagine seeing that thing in twilight, standing there like that…
Pack a 12 gauge…
Kangaroos are deer that have been to prison.
Freddie Kangarooger lol
Me: “Sorry dog...gotta run.”
No doubt on holiday from som American court
Kangaroos fill in Australia the ecological niche filled by whitetail deer in the eastern United States. I’ve gotten fairly close to both species while hiking; ‘roos are mean, nasty, and hostile.
308 win center mass takes care of that problem!

Koalas ain’t exactly little balls of fur either.
When the planet was sterilized for sane colonization of life forms, the folks running the beam didn't take into account a small oddity in the planet surface (a 'bump') and a few square miles where Australia is now located was missed. That's why life there is different, violent and of often poisonous.
So I’ve heard, but the closest I’ve ever been was me on the ground and the koalas sleeping in the treetops.
I collided with a ‘roo while driving down there; its head bounced off my windscreen, driver side, right in front of me. It was a profoundly disturbing experience; their upright posture makes them look very human-like at night.
