Loomer shared a photo of the flyer for the September 20th DeSantis fundraiser in Houston. On the flyer, Dick Weekley is listed as a member of the host committee. Loomer captioned her photo, writing, “One of the most notable names on both invites for both @RonDeSantis’s fundraiser and Dade Phelan’s fundraiser is Texas billionaire Dick Weekley, who was one of the biggest supporters of the recent push to impeach
@KenPaxtonTX.”
Records show Dick Weekley donated $25,000 to Dade Phelan. Weekley’s organization, Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC, also donated $25,000 to Mr. Phelan.
Loomer asked the crucial question, “It’s looking like efforts to impeach Ken Paxton were coordinated by @RonDeSantis donors in a Presidential year. If you were going to try to rig an election in Texas against Trump, you would probably want to take down the pro-Trump Texas AG, wouldn’t you?”
SCOOP: @RonDeSantis will be campaigning in Texas this week with RINO TX Speaker of the House @DadePhelan where Phelan is expected to help DeSantis fundraise.

With 162 delegates at stake, Texas has the second largest number of delegates at stake in the 2024 GOP primary. DeSantis and his allies already tried to rig California, the state with the most delegates at play, to their favor. Loomer exposed McCarthy and DeSantis allies’ plans to award a massive amount of delegates to the second-place finisher in the California GOP primary. Thanks to Loomer’s reporting, Trump supporters in California forced the CA GOP to change their rules.
Trump supporters in Texas should keep their eyes open; it looks like the elite could be attempting to steal the state away from President Trump.
What is that all about? Try making some sense please.
Do you make money making pics such as those?
Then why do all those RINO GOPe support the Meatball who is mostly social conservative for elections?
Look at his ACTIONS.
It appears the Meatball's collapse has hit you especially hard. Keep selling!!
>>”DeSantis has done and is doing good works in Florida so I would like to think he is just using the left wing of the pub party but I have yet to see someone jump into the GOPe sewer and not get the stink all over himself.”
Which do you seriously think is more likely - DeSantis is using the GOPe or the GOPe is using him? Think about it for a minute. The GOPe are pros at this, or as Trump likes to say, they’re killers. But they’re not fools. They wouldn’t have wasted as much time and money on DeSantis if they didn’t believe they had him under their thumb. They don’t leav things like that to chance.
No surprise.
His actions as governor mean nothing. The GOPe have no problem letting Republican governors govern as conservatives if it will help them establish one of their own as a “staunch conservative”. They’re playing for the big prize - control of the federal government. And they’re very sophisticated. They do this sort of thing all the time, although not usually on such a grand scale as they did with DeSantis.
In the past, it was enough for a Republican governor to have 1 or 2 policy successes that the GOPe could leverage to sell them to the base. How do you think the controlled opposition grift has gone on as long as it has and been so successful? With DeSantis, the GOPe knew they had to go an extra mile if they were going to hijack the MAGA movement from Trump. The astro-turf campaign to sell DeSantis as Trump’s successor started almost before Trump even left office (e.g. Trump with all the baggage, etc.).
Also ask yourself why the Republican controlled Florida legislature didn’t behave the way Republican majorities in states like Georgia and Arizona? Are Florida Republicans just that much less corrupt? To a certain extent that might be true. But if the GOPe really wanted to obstruct DeSantis as governor, you can bet they have some leverage that could have been brought to bear. But we saw none of the backstabbing of DeSantis’s agenda from Florida Republican that we so often see in other Republican controlled states, like Georgia, Arizona and Wisconsin, when they undermine conservative interests.
The company DeSantis keeps and the people with which he surrounds himself can not be ignored.

Probably because he speaks in complete sentences, which is their minimum requirement for attaching their name to a candidate.
DeSantis is a full spectrum conservative. Dump is just a loudmouth 90’s Democrat.
Is there a left-wing position that Dump couldn’t get you to sign onto with enough bluster and BS? Answer: no. It’s fine that you’re a RINO. Just own it.
Which POTUS was as successful as Trump? Look at what Trump accomplished:
Who the heck can accomplish the above in four years while being impeached twice and investigated by Obama's Weaponized Agencies?
The company that Trump kept included the Clintons, Chuck U and Nancy. But, actions mean nothing??? OK. Right.
You make great points, but if Trump is the nominee, I will get behind him 100%. He earned it, despite dozens of poor appointments, and many horrendous budgetary and COVID decisions.
>>”The company that Trump kept included the Clintons, Chuck U and Nancy.”
The Clinton’s yes. Chuck and Nancy, no. And we’re talking about a casual relationship from when Trump was a businessman. The reasons a businessman might have for interacting with politicians are different from the reasons a politician might have for having relationships with GOPe donors and consultants.
>>”I can explain: Trump is a RINO, and the GOP is a RINO party.”
Are you serious?
A RINO who built a wall and brought the illegal alien invasion that RINO’s love so much, to a trickle?
A RINO who de-escalated and kept us out of any new wars of the kind that RINOs love so much?
A RINO who appointed 3 originalists to the Supreme Court, which lead directly to the Dobb’s decision and the overturning of Roe v Wade?
But keep it up. Your efforts to discredit Trump are so poorly thought out and intellectually flawed that they only discredit you.
How’s Trump’s wall working out for us now? He built about 2 inches of new wall along a 2000 mile border. What, he deserves credit for -forget finishing- barely even getting started on his signature campaign promise? Give me a break. There’s no failure of his that you’ll never forgive. Not a one.
Good perspective, dforest. Thanks.
Great summary. Thanks!
Trump had built more than enough wall to severely restrict the flow of illegals, when combined with his policy of removing the handcuffs of border patrol, allowing them to focus their resources on the remaining gaps and negotiating Mexican troops and a remain in Mexico policy that drastically reduced crossing attempts in the first place. And the statistics speak for themselves. And your “point” about “only building 2 inches of new wall”, is too stupid to even respond to.
So, no. I’m not going to criticize Trump for “failing” on the border when he did more than any president since Eisenhower to stop illegals. You’d call Washington a failure because it took him 7 years to win the war. But like I said. Keep talking. You only hurt your case when you do.
I'm not a Republican, so RINO doesn't fit. I am an independent Trump voter who will vote for him (and no other Republican on the down ticket). Keep trying, and NO Meatball for you!
