You have to ask yourself, why would the left want to start a civil war that they can’t possibly win? What is their real end goal?
My thoughts, whatever their value, are that the egotism, love of power, monstrous greed, and pure hatred of the progressive left blinds them to the consequences of their chaotic, hate-fueled actions. They are the sort of bad apple whose mind is always focused laser like on what it wants and how to get it, be it more control, more money, or how to make Constitutionalists suffer and even die.
So they are killing the chicken that lays the golden eggs in order to get what they want and to make the people they hate suffer and don't see that with the death of the chicken will be the end of their power, etc.

I think some of the impetus comes from China. I think China spends money in all sorts of ways which contribute to corruption and divisiveness in America.
From a Chinese perspective, any US Civil War would be a “win”. It’s so much that a particular side comes out on top. It’s the destruction. It’s the division. They want that because it makes us much less of a world player.
And, leaving China out of this entirely, I think that many domestic communists have similar thoughts. If the Western culture is a poisonous, racist patriarchy then you just want to tear that down. Have the war. Cause the destruction. Wipe the slate clean. Figure out something better afterwards. Again: “having the civil war” is the goal even more than “winning the war” is the goal.
Because they choose to believe they will win a civil war. It does not matter if that belief is wrong. They will not be persuaded otherwise. They eagerly anticipate the coming violence and the prospect of forcibly subjugating their opponents.
What is their real end goal?
To kill the rest of us before they kill themselves. That is "winning".
They are the Deep State...the military, the CIA, the FBI, the entire Federal bureaucracy.

They are evil. They are anti life.
The more abortions, the more killed in war, crime, illness and vaccines, the happier they are.
We are entering a period of evil where it is difficult to tell who has been stung by it. They thrive on chaos.

To say, “see private ownership of firearms is very bad, turn them in now”.
Liberals have been inching their way to this objective for a very long time. It follows the global blueprint for this kind of move to absolutism...and Liberals have just about shut down all opposition.
Add to this a gigantic ‘populace’, which is increasing daily, and which is wholly dependent on the government, then the picture is much worse. What individual or family, with a needle in its arm called the US government, is going to object to complete power in the hands of the few who will assure their comfort and sustenance?

Chaos. A second civil war in America wouldn’t be anything like the first. No set battles, no opposing armies in the field, it would be Bosnia plus Argentina times 4.
Once chaos has been unleashed there won’t be an America, just enclaves fighting each other to the death over what’s left of resources. That’s the goal.
Why you ask? Because they hate you. They hate everything about you. They want you enslaved or dead.
