Good morning all. I got a FReepmail from Metmom this morning asking that a prayer thread be started for her and her family due to a death in the family.
As per her message:
I got word this morning from my sister that my brother died last night. He called 911 in medical distress and when the paramedics got there they could not resuscitate him.
We’ll be heading in to be with my sister in a day or so. My other brother will be with her and she has a great support network of friends.
My sister is saved. The rest aren’t unless my brother cried out to God in his last moments.
Please pray for us and all that we have to do now including traveling, it’s 8 hours to her place from our house. The burden of settling the estate is on her but we’ll help as much as we can.
Stars and stripes forever, could you please ping the prayer vigil list?
Thanks, mm
That's all I received. If there is a prayer vigil list can someone ping that list for me on her behalf? Thanks.
Awww…it’s very hard to lose a sibling. I’ll keep metmom and her family in my prayers. 🙏
Prayers for and your family.
Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Praying for Metmom and family.
Prayers up
Prayers for metmom and her family. Always a difficult time, and especially in this sort of circumstance.
Metmom is pretty strong, though, I think!
Our prayers for you. May your soul be held in comfort and peace. May the hesed of our Father be poured evermore so upon you and your family. You have blessed us with your wisdom and care so we know you are a blessing to your family. Dwell in understanding and peace.
Shalom, friend.
Lord have mercy. May his memory be eternal.
Prayers being said, dear friend.
Thank you.
How are things going metmom? You’re still in my prayers.
Thank you.
At my sister’s for the week, clearing out the mess at my brother’s house.
NO WAY was I leaving her to deal with that herself. Most of it is not his, stuff (junk) from his wife’s family they inherited and she never dealt with. She went years ago so it was left for him.
It’s a tough situation, but emotionally, we’re doing fine with it.
Thanks for the prayers as I know they are helping.
That’s a big job. My daughters and I did that for my parents as they moved into higher level of care. Over 50 years of accumulation. Truckloads of donations to the thrift store and county dump. Thank God you and your sister are tackling this together. It made us realize we didn’t want to leave a mess for our descendents.
Exactly. It’s great motivation to take care of our stuff once this all settles down.
