Today we’d like to talk about Bulgaria again and shed light on another CIA’s gray scheme for arms smuggling. American intelligence services managed to establish an unofficial channel for the procurement and supply of arms and ammunition from Bulgaria to Ukraine, bypassing the U.S. Congress as well as ignoring the opinion of ordinary Americans.

This document reveals that Noetic International Inc. searches for and purchases certain weapons and ammunition among foreign arms companies at the request of two unnamed clients in Ukraine. The military goods include not only MLRS, howitzers and standard fragmentation projectiles, but also 155mm white phosphorus rounds, notorious for its use during the Yugoslav Wars.

White phosphorus causes severe burns and irritation, liver, kidney, heart, lung or bone damage, and death. The Geneva Convention prohibits the use of white phosphorus shells against civil targets. Protocol III of the UN Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons also does explicitly prohibit the use of white phosphorus.

The military-industrial complex is a fraction if what it was in Eisenhowers day. Now its a very minor part of the US economy and power structure. This what happens when people just repeat slogans without having looked at the facts.

If these industries ended up in the hands of oligarchs, the various waves of “reform” in Russia have merely changed the cast of characters that make up these oligarchs.

That much is true. The first wave of oligarchs were more Neocon-friendly (as was Yeltsin). Putin replaced many of them with oligarchs loyal to himself.
