So how does any of this affect the Congressional investigations into the Bidens?

Some commentators on cable TV news programs are saying that this special counsel now is the key investigative entity rather than congressional committees. The way they talk it’s as if the congressional committees now have no reason to investigate because this special counsel is doing so.

I don’t pretend to know who has ultimate Authority and or is there overlapping Authority involved, if you have a special counsel plus Congressional investigations happening into the same subject.

It seems to me Congress could investigate things and even do an impeachment inquiry independent of whatever this special counsel is doing. But some of these Talking Heads on cable TV news programs seem to be saying that Congress has no need to do any investigations now.

He is the one who concocted the sweetheart plea deal for Hunter,
that was kiboshed after presented for the court’s consideration.

Weiss’ plea deal was so meager that it did not even reach
the level of a ‘limited hangout’ (which seems to be its original intent).

A “limited hangout” is a public relations scam in which a
guilty perp who wants to cover up a major crime will admit
to a very small portion of the crime in order to claim that
the issue has been put to rest.

The most serious evidence connects Hunters dad to the alleged conspiracy suggesting that Hunter Biden ran an influence-peddling operation in which he allegedly solicited bribes in Ukraine and other countries by selling the family “brand.”

The “brand” was then-VP Joe Biden, and the political clout that he could wield, for the Biden family’s “friends.”

In fact, Hunter Biden allegedly patched in his father on conference calls with overseas business associates...... and once tried to coerce a Chinese businessman to resolve a payment dispute by claiming that Joe Biden was sitting next to him and would make the Chinese debtor “regret” failing to pay up.
