President Donald Trump dropped a bombshell report on his Truth Social platform that the sham committee overseeing the investigation of the January 6th Capitol riot has destroyed their documents and records illegally.
On Tuesday, Trump wrote:
President Trump: So now that I have full Subpoena Power because of the Freedom of Speech Sham Indictment by Crooked Joe Biden, Deranged Jack Smith, and the DOJ, it has just been reported that the Unselect January 6th Committee of Political Hacks and Thugs has illegally destroyed their Records and Documents. This is unthinkable, and the Fake Political Indictment against me must be immediately withdrawn. The system is Rigged & Corrupt, very much like the Presidential Election of 2020. We are a Nation in Decline!

Jack Smith’s latest indictment is a retread J6 committee garbage, free speech violations by the Biden DOJ, who should know better, and ESP-like assumptions and mind-reading nonsense.
It can be recalled that House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) sent a letter to House January 6th Committee Chairman Bennie Thompson (D-MS) on November 2022 demanding preservation of committee records for the incoming Republican-controlled Congress next January 2023. McCarthy also said Republicans would hold hearings on why the Capitol was “not secure” on January 6, 2021.”....

He could have participated in the J6 hearings, and used that as an opportunity to present his case, which would have afforded him access to these docs, and rights to retain his own copies. Instead, he boycotted the hearings, which was essentially a “no contest” plea, and they had a field day, which resulted in these indictments.
As typical for Trump, which we’ve learned over the last couple of years, is that he’s always late to catch on, but then wants to whine to no end about how it turned out bad for him.
Basically everything he complains about anymore, is partially his doing.

I could be mistaken, but yes, at first, Trump wanted nothing to do with the so called J-6 ‘Hearings’, but later on, I’m almost certain he volunteered to make himself available if called upon. I was so disgusted at Liz, and the very notion of those hearings, I don’t have all the references. I tried to block it out of my mind.
That’s exactly what happened. Trump decided to boycott these hearings, out of fear, and it’s once again blown up in his face. Yes yes, I know that the chosen Republicans weren’t allowed the minority role they requested, but who else remembers this?
All anyone remembers, is these one sided hearings, that ended up with criminal referrals, with NOTHING on the record to contest them. McCarthy said, we’ll limit Swallwell from some committee in response, IF we win the House, like that even mattered at the time. Trump hid, got smoked, and is now paying the price. Let me rephrase that that - we are ALL paying the price.

I've had no TeeVee since 2004, and no smartphone, either.
No way did he ever volunteer to participate in any way, shape, or form. He basically ignored the whole thing, like he was magically above it all. Except when he tweeted insults at everybody, like tweets are equal to congressional hearings, and congressional records on the subject. He could have presented his side, and made it harder for criminal charges to ever be filed, but he never even showed his face. It was a "no contest" plea, at best.
With all respect, no wonder you're so out of touch, and pin all your hopes on one person, without understanding all their various their pros, and cons, of which there are many.
The world is a complex place. No one man is the answer, or ever will be, unless his name is Jesus. Until he returns, I suggest you learn more about any politician who demands you put all your faith into them, alone.

The J6 Committee was a sham. Nobody watched it. It failed.

It’s no surprise that the Dems destroyed government records. That’s a federal offense.
How ironic that Trump was accused of removing documents that they claim should be in the National Archives.
ALL records of hearing by law must go into the National Archives. The Dems BLATANTLY broke the law they are accusing Trump of breaking. But Trump says he had an agreement with the National Archives on what he could take. The Dems had NO SUCH AGREEMENT about what they could destroy.
Hang the lot of them! End the sham Kangaroo Court against President Trump.
