Is Ukraine Awakening To The Likelihood That It Will Be Tossed Under The NATO Bus?
Sonar 21 ^ | 5Aug 23 | Larry Johnson

Foreigners who place their trust in the promise of the United States to have their back apparently are unaware of the fate of Vietnamese, Libyans, Cambodians, Afghanis and Iraquies who believed Washington’s promises. When the going gets tough, the U.S. says adios.

The following video cartoon is a canary in the mineshaft. While the West is scrambling to blame Ukraine for the failed counter offensive, some in the Ukraine are pushing back against that narrative by correctly noting that the pledge of Washington and NATO to give them the weapons systems needed to beat back the Russian offensive is nothing more than lip service. I’m providing two versions — youtube and Rumble (just in case youtube tries to quash the video).

* the video has had me laughing for an hour- a must see.

With no success on the battlefield Ukraine is opting for the drone hail Mary — i.e., attacking a couple of Russian ships with maritime drones. These attacks are pin pricks with no strategic significance in terms of diminishing Russia’s military power. However, these attacks are likely to inspire the Russian General Staff to look at attacks on NATO ISR operating over the Black Sea because of the role played by Western aerial surveillance in providing Ukraine with intelligence needed to attack those two Russian vessels. In addition, these attacks are likely to stiffen Russia’s resolve to impose a de facto embargo on Ukrainian ports in the coming weeks.

I wonder when the London bookies will start offering betting opportunities predicting Zelensky’s fall from power or the Ukrainian military’s withdrawal from the battlefield? That is another marker that is a better predictor of the course of the war in Ukraine than any of the nonsense being published by British intelligence or the Institute for the Study of War.

You sound like Sweet Polly Purebred with dementia.

You sound like a real a-hole.

And, I'll bet that my IQ is at least 100 points higher than yours.

There's no plan for Russia to be "kicked out." None. It doesn't exist... except in the fantasies of the moronic Uk chatterlings.

The plan has always been there, and only the blind and brainless would not have noticed. Sound like You?

From the beginning, Ukraine has been battling to kick the Russians out, and the U.S. and the UK and other members of NATO have been assisting, with training and advice and funding and military equipment and even sustenance for the population. It that's not a plan, then, you ought to go back and tell your mom that she forgot to get you a brain before you were born.

“Currently, the white population makes up the vast majority of the United States’ population, accounting for some 251.82 million people in 2021.”

Depends on how Whites are defined. If you’re thinking non-Hispanic Whites the percentage is only slightly over 50%, perhaps 56% of citizens at this point.

No measure?

I’ll give you just one hint.

What the heck happened after the U.S. pulled out of Afghanistan? Do you think that Russia would have invaded Ukraine if the U.S. still had the will to defend their interests anywhere in the world? China is looking for the final go-ahead from Biden to take Taiwan. Neither Russia nor China would have been emboldened as they are not, if the U.s. had not abandoned Afghanistan.

Russia is not giving up Ukraine as long as they believe that the will of the U.S. will wither. Same with China regarding Taiwan. Once Ukraine is given up, Russia will be looking to other areas that the U.S. wont defend, and once China sees the weakened U.S. and NATO, Taiwan will be taken, and so will other neighboring countries. It always happens when aggressive nations notice that the will to defend or fight in gone from the stronger nations. WW2 should be a huge lesson, but, people tend to forget or are too naive.

That's what Biden goes around saying, which tells us you're a complete imbecile. Writing like some 5th grader doesn't help.

"Ukraine is destroyed and suffers up to 1 million dead and 10 million departed, but we have lost nothing!"

If you think the USA will avoid judgement for behavior based on such thinking, you are living in a fool's paradise.

Funny how Putin supporters blame everybody else in the world, but never the russians who actually invaded Ukraine.

I’m referring to rebuilding efforts and such.

Right, because throughout history the West has been worse at rebuilding vs russia.

Especially ones that cheer on Ukraine

Yup, its unbelievable that FReepers would support the right of self-defense.

funny how every deep-state troll resorts to calling all opponents "putin supporters."

You are going to have to show some basic smarts and initiative, and go beyond the printed play-book you were given, if you expect to attract some attention from your masters.

Hunter.....I can’t think of any other reason why we’d be involved...

Hunter goes out into the world——on the struggling taxpayers’ dime——
to solicit bribes from lowlifes of the world.

Daddy Biden smiles and gives these hellhole countries
huge amts of taxpayer cash, hands them our treasure.... and our armaments...

I’m nominating you freeper of the month.

You are totally wrong about everything you think about Ukraine, but you are ABSOLUTELY sure you are smarter than everyone else.

Perfect.

Whatever you think if it is based on the statements of the sources you post it is likely to be wrong.

Larry Johnson is not a reliable source, and his statements about tracking ships shows his ignorance.

Ukraine just showed it can interdict and damage Russian warships and tankers with ease. That's a serious, strategic problem for Russia. Without the ability to freely use its Black Sea ports Russia faces serious economic and military problems.

forced to flee because of the violence, because of the puppet masters in the US..

Your statement would make sense if the US had invaded Ukraine, but it was Russia who invaded Ukraine.

Your theory about "puppet masters" requires that Putin is the puppet of "the US, US State Dept, EU and NATO" which seems like a pretty far-fetched theory.

I hope not. Despite the corruption in Ukraine,is RUSSIA any better?

Putin is a war criminal responsible for invading a neighboring country and murdering and raping and kidnappimg and torturing its citizens, destroying their cities abd countryside, and threatening world food supplies and violating written agreements he signed.

Just as the Deep State isn’t after Trump and they are really after you but he’s in the way, Putin isn’t kust after Ukraine, he is really out to restore the Evil Empire and threaten US. Ukraine is merely in the way1

What percentage of Russia is white compared to the US?

Why would that matter? Do you have a problem with people who are not white?

Any military action in the modern era is doomed without dominance of the skies, which the Ukraine has not.

Russia as a modern state can not be beaten in a conventional war without air power. A few stinger hand held rockets will replace an active well trained air force. The deeper the cuts into Russia will only serve to rally Russian public opinion for the war. Even now Europe has lost her ardor for the war and supporting Ukraine. The more Zelenskyy clamps down as a dictator—the less people feel comfortable supporting such a government. In the end —it will be the people of Ukraine and not Putin who will force him from power. But, the war goes on—now in Niger (where France and the US will be forced to invade), In the Arabian gulf, In Syria to support the Kurds, In the China Sea to support Taiwan’s Pro-liberation Party, and other lands. We will be eaten alive in distant places. Russia is—the least of our worries.
