Former Vice President Mike Pence issued a statement Tuesday evening on the indictment of his former boss and now presidential campaign rival President Trump for contesting the 2020 election and lobbying state officials, Congress and Pence about the election. Pence said he has not reviewed the indictment.
Trump strongly lobbied Pence to accept challenges to state election results and give those states time to review their elections when he presided over the joint session of Congress on January 6, 2021. Pence rejected Trump’s pleas, disagreeing with Trump’s saying he had the legal authority to do so under the Electoral Count Act of 1887.
Today’s indictment serves as an important reminder: anyone who puts himself over the Constitution should never be President of the United States
I will have more to say about the government’s case after reviewing the indictment. The former president is entitled to the presumption of innocence but with this indictment, his candidacy means more talk about January 6th and more distractions.
As Americans, his candidacy means less attention paid to Joe Biden’s disastrous economic policies afflicting millions across the United States and to the pattern of corruption with Hunter.

He doesn’t have a chance to win the GOP nomination, so he’s trying out for a talking head spot on MSNBC or CNN.
Does the Constitution allow for someone with severe cognitive impairment to assume office of POTUS? Pence should have challenged Biden’s mental fitness for office. That is a Constitutional act and sworn duty. The DEMS pulled off a coup. Their only political loss was SOH. But even then they still had their ace in the hole for a new one to take her place.

I now believe Pence is the primary witness. I think he has become a bitter Romney clone. The Tucker question destroyed him to the point that he hasn’t even qualified for the GOP debate. He has moved to vengeance and is exacting as much damage to MAGA as he can.
Pence as part of the cabal thought trump would be impeached and removed and he would become president
He now sees how little support there is for that so is just trying to keep,relevant
After what Pence did at the Capitol on January 6th, his political career was effectively over. What he did by smearing Trump to the Grand Jury means his reputation is forever shamed. He’s probably insulated enough and has the media speaking kindly about him for the time being, so he doesn’t realize it. But if he goes out campaigning, the people will give him an earful. Stick a fork in him. He’s done.
