A former employee of a large food service corporation is suing the company in federal court after it fired her for refusing to participate in a program that discriminates against white male employees.
Courtney Rogers worked for Charlotte, North Carolina-based Compass Group USA Inc. from her home office in San Diego, California.
The company had more than 280,000 employees and $20.1 billion in revenue in 2019, according to its LinkedIn profile. One of the world’s largest employers, the company has thousands of employees in California and counts among its clients Dodger Stadium, San Francisco International Airport, Uber, Snapchat, Netflix, Disney Studios, and NBC Universal.

But participation in the program was restricted to “women and people of color.” White men were not allowed to participate and receive the associated benefits of training, mentorship, and guaranteed promotion.
By calling it “Operation Equity,” the company “used a euphemistic and false title to hide the program’s true nature.” The program would more accurately be called the “White-Men-Need-Not-Apply” program because it is an example of “‘outright racial balancing,’ which is patently unlawful,” and is the kind of program “promoted by people … who harbor racial animus against white men,” according to the legal complaint.

I work at in a technology department and the manager is a big liberal.
About 70% of the hires are black. About half don’t make it.
As blacks are about 12% of the population here, I often wonder how many qualified white candidates overlooked because of their race.
As you can imagine, the few whites that are hired are the cream of the crop among whites, and the difference in performance is very noticeable.
Thats pretty much been the BS hiring policies here in SoCal since way before the woke garbage even materialized. Old=bad, white=bad, old & white=awful, old & white & male=satan

Compass Group USA Inc better be looking at how much cash they can pay out to the victims of such a blatant racist behavior, because a rough initial calculation indicates the amount is going to be “a LOT.”

With the recent SCOTUS ruling for colleges we should expect immediate lawsuits for jobs as well. Even without another SCOTUS case, one can argue that the college race admissions applies to the job market as well.
I tell all white men to do the bare minimum at work.

It used to be hard to find job at older age.
What I heard lately is that companies like to hire older people lately, because they still know how to work. Young people have huge demands and barely work.
I would look in smaller companies, they need to get the job done and are less PC.
I am old enough to remember when you run into a black person in high position, your first reaction was “Oh, black person in this position! He must be really good!”
Now, one wonder if he is just fulfilling some quota or if he actually knows something.
Sue them like crazy.
A quick cruise of their website will lead you to conclude that the majority of people are black with smatterings of other colors and a very very few whites and no white men.

Can’t happen. Racial amounts are not geared by availability of race, but by the amounts of capacity. In 1972 I tested for and applied for a position with SCE and my testing numbers well exceeded their needs in hydro electics. I was told they couldn’t hire me because their “racial quota” needed more blacks to catch up and I would have to wait an estimated 3 years. I got myself healed and went back to the military.
Our society is based upon worth as defined by only certain people. Example, a general in the military as a flag officer if he/she worked with the base salary provided, annual $101,081, it would take the general 20 years, a full career, to make a million dollars. Basketball had an annual NBA salary in 2023 of nearly $10.5 million on the average so makes what takes a flag officer in the military 20 year to make putting his life on the line that the average basketball player makes in two years to play a game. And a recent player signed a contract for a 5 year $304 million annual not counting incentives. That’s an average of almost $61 million a year for last years all-NBA second team player. And he’s not even the featured or best player on his team. It has nothing to do with reality, just hype.

This is already unconstitutional. Companies that practice this sort of thing need to be shut down and their assets given to the aggrieved individuals.
For the first time I faced black malice when I scowled angrily in a McDonald’s last week.
I saw a Corp poster about hiring blacks for management etc. it angered me.
The black franchisee/manager saw me and confronted me why I looked so angry.
I stated that poster is discriminatory. He just argued with me about how that’s what he wants and spewed all the stereotypes about blacks but for whites…they’d steal from him, wouldn’t work, etc. full of crap. Trying to make me feel bad.
I left and went to Wendy’s.
I was happy a couple years ago just to see black guys working some of our local landscaping rather than illegal Latinos.
Perhaps part of why I couldn’t get an engineering job again after resigning my son.
I only checked off the female box. Nothing else. Not even gay.
