The ride is already scary. But what if the ride operator tells you that there is something wrong with the ride and then.....
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
PING!
Way back when, when there was a “Playland at the Beach” in SF, there was a Diving Bell ride that would take you down under the water and you’d see sharks and stuff. At some point, the operator would act like something was wrong and acted terrified and suddenly would whoosh the bell up and out of the water. As a little kid, scared the daylights out of me.
Playland was a fun place.
He should walk away, then say “Oh shit”...and scramble to stop it after it “clicks”......
How about if you go on a deep dive submersible to see the Titanic and the operator pulls out a simple video game controller and declares that is what he is using to control the submersible. Everyone laughs except the operator who says “No, really! This is what I am using but don’t worry, nothing can go wrong.”
Love it. He has some great lines.
I watch this guy all the time. It’s so funny. They don’t have enough men nor straps to put me in anything like that to begin with. lol
...not so “hilarious”...
Hilarious.
I wouldn’t want it to happen to me. But then again, I won’t be on that ride in the first place.
Sometimes the truth is much scarier than the 'fake'... Good catch.
Reminds me of one of our airborne instructors at Ft. Benning. On the 34’ tower I was approaching the exit door and he told me,”Wait up cadet, this isn’t connected right.” Then he said very quickly, “Hook it up on the way down,” then shoved me out the door lol.
That’s nothing! Here’s a scary viral video for you.

It was manipulated. The actual video was of a Japanese bus driver negotiating a very hilly road.
Thanks for posting a rumble video.

I wouldn’t be amused.
But then again around 1965 the only thing that kept me from being flung off a ride on the Santa Cruz boardwalk was my siblings holding onto my collar and shirt as 3/4 ths of my body was completely outside of the gondola spinning at a 60 degree angle. I was almost flung off the ride by centrifugal force.
Ruined carnival rides for the rest of my life.
Ymmv.
