An anecdote. I was chatting with some old friends from Rockland County NY who are Black and also have Native ancestry (Ramapo Tribe, Lenape, Munsee). We have some political disagreements but we still get along. The only thing they take issue with was the courthouse in the vid where a lynching occured 100yrs ago (Miley Cyrus did a Hannah Montana vid in front of that same courthouse. I watched dozens of black reactions videos yesterday and almost all were positive about the songs message. I’m not shocked. People everywhere share concerns for family, neighborhoods, safety and can recognize stupid “woke” liberals for what they are.

Yep, plus there's the fact that BLM, while not an innocent protest group, was not the main driving force behind the 2020 riots. How many black people were shot by Kyle Rittenhouse? People notice and discuss these things, even if the media won't mention them.

Take the disproportionate young BM crime stats. Yet it was white liberals, under LBJ, who ruined the black family structure with his Great Society.

There’s a lot of black reactors that are waking up to the history of the D party and the left - aka ‘white liberals’ and the problem they are.

They’re reacting to videos from PragerU, highlighting their videos about the history of the D party and slavery. They’re seeing they’ve been lied to. They also get a lot of subscribers and views.

I’d like to think it’s going to make a dent - but I’m not sure how influential it really is across the broader black community.

What struck me recently is this: how many people would even know about that that lynching 100 years ago if the liberals didn’t shove that down our throat? So they are publicizing and repeating this past tragedy ad infinitum, emphasizing racism probably perpetrated by southern Democrats, when it might have been a lot less divisive and a lot more honest to see that building as just a classical background to the music video.
