The new crowdfunded hit movie that goes where Hollywood won’t by shedding light on the dark underworld of human trafficking isn’t sitting well with left-wing media critics who seem to have a problem with raising awareness about the abduction of children who are forced into the global sex slave trade.

I am trying to understand what the left’s official position is.
A. Human trafficking doesn’t happen or it happens or at least rarely happens.
B. It happens but it’s best we don’t talk about it and especially make movies about it.
C. It happens but not the way it is presented here. And certainly it is never the wealthy that are involved with this.
How could anyone be pro slavery, especially pro child slavery? Is it a complete state of ignorance or abject evil?
The media, Hollywood and the political elitists all back and protect each other. They don’t want this major problem getting that much attention, because they will all be exposed as being a part of it.

Leftists have a problem with a movie about the evil of paedophilia because leftists have a paedophilia problem themselves or see nothing wrong with it in any of its ramifications. They have no moral ground and thus morality is replaced by immediate pleasure and convenience.

Leftists are no morally against slavery. It is politically convenient to oppose slavery and they really have no problem at all with slavery that benefits them. Otherwise slavery opposition is limited to that which they can use as a political club and to keep Negros in line.

Theatres don’t like it because this type of customer does not buy popcorn, candy and soda... which is where theatres make their money.
Is Hollywood and the Left really opposed to this film?
I'm not sure that it is. But if it is, perhaps it's because the film stars Jim Cavielzel, whom Hollywood still hasn't forgiven for The Passion of the Christ.
Or perhaps it's because it's a non-woke take on human trafficking? Perhaps the villains aren't white enough?
