The Biden regime is doing its best to ruin the United States’ good name on the world stage. Biden has opened the border, flooded the US with millions of illegals, destroyed the US energy sector, blown up inflation, jailed political prisoners, indicted the top opposition candidate, cracked down on First Amendment rights, surrendered to the Taliban, armed the barbarians with 80 billion dollars in US equipment, pushed the world to the brink of World War III, and propped up an imbecile with dementia as leader of the free world.
The Biden administration recently decided to send thousands of cluster bombs to Ukraine despite these bombs being banned in 120 countries.
A year ago then White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said Russia’s alleged use of cluster bombs was a war crime (Video at link).
It’s like Joe Biden and his handlers are doing their best to destroy to make America the bad guys.

The US has decided to send cluster munitions to Ukraine to help its military push back Russian forces entrenched along the front lines – despite the ex-White House press secretary saying last year that Russia’s use of the bombs was a ‘war crime’.
The Biden administration has been weighing up a decision on sending the munitions since December, and is expected to announce on Friday it will send thousands of them as part of a new military aid package worth $800million.
Cluster munitions explode and disperse a series of smaller bombs over a wide area, often killing civilians. More than 120 nations have signed a 15-year-old treaty banning their use, but Ukraine and Russia have both deployed them – and Ukraine’s supplies of all types of ammunition are dwindling.
When, five days into the war, Jen Psaki, then the White House press secretary, was asked about the Russian use of cluster munitions, she said: ‘We have seen the reports. If that were true, it would potentially be a war crime.’
The White House has now shifted its position, and is overruling a law which bans the transfer of cluster munitions with a failure rate of more than 1 percent. Some with a higher failure rate will be sent to Ukraine.
They had a slo-mo video of that system in action on the Military Channel awhile back. It is almost unbelievable how it works.

Of course, we "won" the war. Well maybe not. But at least 58 thousand Americans, some of my buddies in basic trainings, helped win that war.... that we didn't win. Kind of like Afghanistan, eh?
All the high faluting howls and complaints about cluster munitions and all make me laugh, as an old guy. The United States, Russia AND the Ukraine are not signatories to the Convention against this stuff. So just pick the cluster munitions you like and growl at the cluster munitions you don't like. They'll a be there in a jif, PIF.

I am coming around to the conclusion that in order to ever win this conflict or level the field to where the Ukes can negotiate from strength will require barbarous attacks inside Russia on civilian targets with heavy casualties especially women, children and civilian infrastructure. Until the Russians perceive having serious skin in this game they’re playing, there will be no withdrawal or mutually acceptable peace terms. ever. I take no joy in this, far from it, but a dozen or more terroristic attacks upon civilians inside Russian territory with heavy loss of life and the promise of more to come would certainly change the paradigm here.

No. Totally wrong. Russia is commuting economic and population suicide, in addition to killing off its work force and future generations. Not to mention the government is becoming more unstable each passing day.
If the war ended today, with all the Russian troops going home and Ukraine whole with Crimea, Russia would continue to collapse. And China will take the Far East without a shot; the ruble will disappear as the yuan replaces it.
All those forces are in motion now; its too late to to be reversed.
Russia deliberately attacks civilians, Ukraine does not. Being so bloodthirsty is silly and unnecessary.
I like seeing Putin and the Russians losing. Putin deserves it and the Russians are hostile and have hundreds of nuclear tipped ICBMs aimed at us.

Would the US perceive it differently if we were drafting and sending combat troops or advisors in public and visible numbers to fight?
Each year or two, some Democrat has proposed in Congress to reinstate the draft. While one reads pro-Z and pro-P sorts of things on recent threads on FR, the fact is that the current military is not meeting its recruitment goals. Big time not.

All the arm chair generals and talk of sending dollars and munitions in massive amounts haven't yet thought through sending American troops. Because EU and US transfers of materiel and wealth have served today, along with those "strongly worded letters" and such.

A fine question. I suspect that perceptions would change.
Nonetheless, the largest trench in this current trench warfare talk and the largest cluster blow-up in this cluster chit-chat comes to the deep trench and clusterf**k of $32 trillion USD in debt and rising fast.
