In 1963, Marlon Brando marched with Charlton Heston for Civil Rights and in the 1970's, after his triumph in The Godfather, he refused Hollywood's Oscar.
Brando died in 2004 on this date, the 1st of July, 19 years ago.
For me his greatness is in showing just how hard it can be in the modern world to be a man.
Its in his own words:
“Most of my childhood memories of my father are of being ignored. I was his namesake, but nothing I did ever pleased or even interested him. He enjoyed telling me I couldn’t do anything right.”
“If we are not our brother’s keeper, at least let us not be his executioner.”
“I have eyes like those of a dead pig.”
While he might’ve been a good actor, Brando was a lazy, self indulgent pr*ck and all around lousy human being. He knocked up Rita Moreno and then paid her to have an abortion. 8 have no respect for the man or his acting.

Wasn’t he in Candy and Last Tango in Paris?
Brando bedded both women and men. He was quite chummy with Michael Jackson in his later years, spending a lot of time at Neverland.
Stella you < expletive deleted >.
One of his boyfriends was Wally Cox of all people.
Definitely weird. Brando had his ashes buried with Wally Cox.
Yup
Yep.

“Last Tango in Paris” was one of the worst movies of all time. Just terrible.
Brando was a crap human being, probably suffering from mental issues all his life with some bipolar disorder thrown in the mix. His kids turned out to be suicidal head cases too, probably from being raised around him
He was a weirdo but he made some good movies.
Check he fit in well with Hollywood.
I always think of the great Norm MacDonald joke (RIP)
“Earlier this week, Marlon Brando met with Jewish leaders to apologize for comments he made on Larry King Live, among them that “Hollywood is run by Jews.” The Jewish leaders accepted the actor’s apology and announced that Brando is now free to work again.”
“Most of my childhood memories of my father are of being ignored. I was his namesake, but nothing I did ever pleased or even interested him. He enjoyed telling me I couldn’t do anything right.”

Proving once again that the homosexual identity is a product of parental abuse, not of genetics.
