$40 Billion to Ukraine? I wouldn’t be shocked if it’d been 5 times that.
It’s over $100 billion. In total, Congress has allocated $113 billion in a combination of mostly military, government, and humanitarian aid to Ukraine since last year, according to the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General.
So this article is BS.
I think the difference is “authorized by Congress/President” vs. “Delivered”...DoD puts packages together and “ships them out” over time..the $40.5 billion number may be the “already shipped out” number. And then there is the $25 billion in “financial aid” and another $3.7 billion in “humanitarian aid”.
