1. Low inflation?
2. Low unemployment, especially for blue collar work?
3. Rising real wages?
4. Standing up to China and tariffs?
5. Building a wall and having the most secure border since the 1960s?
6. Cheap gas, super high oil production?
7. Selecting 3 SCOTUS judges that fundamentally changed the court?

That is an incomplete list but please tell us what is not conservative about any of those things?

As time goes on, I’m starting to see a pattern emerging here. Many Republican voters have the same visceral reaction to Ron DeSantis in the 2024 campaign that Democrats had to John Edwards in 2004. Back then I remember reading MSM articles posted here with direct quotes from Democratic primary voters who insisted they’d never vote for Edwards in the general election if he won the Democratic nomination.

The fact that both of these guys come across as smarmy, disingenuous lawyers surely has a lot to do with that.
