2,600 people at $15/hr is $39,000 per hour. Anticipating 1,000 hrs per campaign worker, that’s $39 million. At $25/hr that’s $65 million. At $40/hr that’s $104 million.
This is the scale of spending that Ken Cuccinelli and Jeff Roe have for the Never Back Down SuperPAC to support Governor Ron DeSantis in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada on behalf of the Sea Island billionaires who want to manipulate the 2024 election. That’s just payroll for new hires.
Overall, the New York Times is reporting a campaign support spending plan of more than $200 million. Essentially, these are payments from the billionaire Wall Street donors and multinationals, funneled through the SuperPAC, to influence the ’24 election. The context of the New York Times report sounds accurate.
NYT – A key political group supporting Ron DeSantis’s presidential run is preparing a $100 million voter-outreach push so big it plans to knock on the door of every possible DeSantis voter at least four times in New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina — and five times in the kickoff Iowa caucuses.
The effort is part of an on-the-ground organizing operation that intends to hire more than 2,600 field organizers by Labor Day, an extraordinary number of people for even the best-funded campaigns.
Top officials with the pro-DeSantis group, a super PAC called Never Back Down, provided their most detailed account yet of their battle plan to aid Mr. DeSantis, whom they believe they can sell as the only candidate to take on — and win — the cultural fights that are definitional for the Republican Party in 2024.
The group said it expected to have an overall budget of at least $200 million, including more than $80 million to be transferred from an old DeSantis state political account,

Post 18 🤣🤣🤣
I recently heard Cuccinelli lying about Trump in a Newsmax segment. He’s all-in for DeSantis.
With all he’s been through, I get annoyed at the people here seem to have abandoned him. I like Ron DeSantis, I don’t like attacking him, but those who act like Trump failed or did nothing should realize that the Judicial Person he’s enduring right now is only because he tried to change this country for the better. If he’s so unelectable, why are the elites so afraid of him and his Candidacy?
If you thought the establishment was going to play nice, you haven’t been paying attention for decades.
In the end it won’t matter, Trump will handily get 60% of the primary vote.
What you have going on is literally a temper tantrum by the establishment/globalist/uniparty.
The flyover ignoramuses just won’t follow their script.
Don’t get worked up too badly... Trump is the nominee, and it won’t even be close...
The folks who are pushing the Desantis can beat Trump are the same flappy lipped fools who told you Oz was a winner.
Desantis is IMHO very very foolish, I hope the NeverTrumpers cut him a really really big check for this, because the odds are very high, he’s going to wind up doing long term damage to his brand, and the odds of him getting the nomination are virtually zero.
He’s very likely going to learn the lessons of Rubio and Cruz from 2016, and do very big long term damage to his brand with little upside.
There is no math, none, anywhere where Trump is not the nominee, the math just isn’t there, anyone telling you it is, is LYING to you.
Now, whether you like Trump or not, really doesn’t matter... Trump is the most dominant individual in the US political scene, and there is absolutely no chance that’s going to change between now and next spring. Anyone thinking his base is going to either stay home, or defect en masse to someone else, is just fooling themselves.
His dedicated base is EASILY over 50% of the GOP Primary voters, there is absolutely no math that anyone else can win the nomination, even if the field was only Trump and 1 other candidate, let alone Trump and 10 or 12 or however many there are now saying they plan to run.
Not to mention the Establishment is making sure that more political “persecutions” will be going all through the primaries. Anyone who thinks that’s going to lessen Trump’s support hasn’t been paying attention.
I must say DeSantis looks good for 105 - though he may want to consider stepping aside and letting the younger generation have a shot.
True. The more crap they throw at him, the stronger he seems to become.
Well said, Pajamajan, with your MAGA heart visible in the writing....
Great analysis there, HamiltonJay.
