If the Russians say it’s deadly and American DS says it’s propaganda then the DS won’t mind if the Russian simultaneously release on the US 20 largest cities. Not like propaganda would be dangerous.

Comment #30 was quite clear that you, cuz, were not the source of the abusive, disgusting comment that besmirched the pages of FR comments in this post.

Meanwhile no one has mentioned the fact these biolabs in Ukraine were there from the Soviet days of Russian rule. Unlike their nuclear stores from Soviet days, the biolabs were NOT returned to Russia they way the nukes in Ukraine were at the time of the end of the USSR. Who knows when these virulent flu strains were developed/identified?

While Ukraine no longer has its own nukes, it by signed agreement has the word of Russia and the US that Ukraine will be protected from invasion—UNTIL IT IS NOT! Oh well, we should know by now you just can’t trust the Ruskies. Meanwhile Ukraine still has these biolabs.

The prevailing winds blow mostly from Ukraine into Russia and make creating nuclear fallout in Ukraine a danger to Russia. Thus a cause for some Russian restraint in using nukes in Ukraine. By the same logic when winds are blowing east, dangerous bioweapons could be launched in Ukraine and sent into Russian territory. I imagine drones could do the job. Let’s call this the bioweapon deterrent, similar to the nuclear deterrent. Perhaps all the Pooty Pals here who love to wave the nuclear threat should keep that in mind before they flaunt their nuclear scare porn again.

Given the 50% or higher mortality of the bird flu as reported early on (2004?), why would “gain of function” research even be needed. It already had plenty of function. I became aware of this issue around 2006 as you can see from my About Page “Possible link between eurasian bird flu and destruction of Iraq Marshes (1/12/06)”. I posted this article when I became aware how Iraq’s monster dictator had created perfect conditions for spreading this flu by destroying 90% of the Iraq marshes.

These marshes were an important resting point for birds migrating south and north for seasonal change. They enabled birds to recover and refuel for their arduous flights between summer and winter homes. Inability to rest and recover appeared to be a significant factor in movement of this deadly flu to countries, such as Ukraine, where farmers raised birds like chickens and ducks who could become infected by exhausted migratory birds. That is probably an important reason Ukraine had this pathogen in their research facilities.

At the time the Pandemics Office was moved out of Trump’s White House to the homeland security offices, we were supporting some 40 overseas laboratories doing pandemics research. I think it was originally 46 countries, but some had been dropped. I suspect because we didn’t trust them. The fact several administrations trusted Fauci to control $6 billion annually in health science research has been tragic or unfortunate in ways which deserve their own debate.

In my previous comment I meant to ask you to post the link to the Lancet article if you have it. Thanks

IT is no easier for Russia to provide evidence of Bio labs then it is for Kari Lake to provide evidence of vote fraud. The system is too corrupt to let it be used.

Evidently you’re too detached from reality to have observed that all the “conspiracy theories” are coming true.

“It’s sad watching fools and frauds come up with every immoral reason to “justify” a Russian invasion of Ukraine.

None of it remotely justifies the Russian invasion.”

How is this any of this my problem?
Why is it so imporortant to you?
Are you an “Instacart” poster?

American paychecks will still be cashed long after the fall of Zelensky-Obama Ukraine.

You really don’t know what you’re talking about.
Once major portions of Europe are destabilized or in the hands of our enemies, and same goes for Asia,
The effect on the American economy and those “paychecks” you mentioned, will be devastating.

Could the Russian lose this on the USA? how much would it take? Could it be brought in over the border from Mexico?

That's a very cogent point, gleeaikin! I confess that I hadn't considered it (or had been subconsciously dismissing / suppressing it the whole time up until now - because it's a pretty scary scenario!).

Thanks for your insights!

Im more concerned about my circus’ border

False Dilemma Fallacy!

I, too, am actually more concerned about our Southern Border than I am about Ukraine. If I could, with a sweeping gesture, magically divert all of the aid going to Ukraine to fortifying our Southern Border, I would!

But I would much prefer diverting all of the funds currently earmarked for expanding the IRS, welfare payouts, sexually mutilating pre-teens, and DIE subsidies to protecting the Southern Border - yes, I can actually simultaneously recognize multiple problems we should address, without advocating that we entirely drop any individual worthwhile cause - but I don't have that power.

Now why is the military in bio-lab work if not to develop biological warfare weaponry?

In order to develop countermeasures!

I just read one of the two links you sent me. This is indeed a frightening situation if this bird flu is being caught from environment spread by seals and dolphins. As mammals, we are also potentially at risk if these sea mammals are dying.

The first link you gave has more detail. The colored part of the second link does not get you to Lancet. I copied the complete second line starting with http and entered it as a URL at Google search. Below is the URL that worked for Lancet.

I never said anything one way or the other regarding wether the russian thing is justified or not ( which was the assertion by the other poster that I was replying to)

I just expressed ukrain is not my priority.

Nice try though.

Maybe you should also not put words in my mouth with your presuppositions either.

In order to develop countermeasures!

/\
\/

In order to develop a specific counter measure to a specific contagion

one needs to know what that specific ( enemy) contagion IS

and by definition , if it is an enemy developed contagion, you don’t know what that contagion is

And if you don’t know what it is you can’t develop a counter measure is

So you are again commiting a presuppositional fallacy

Cart before the horse , if that’s easier for you to understand

Fauci used the same faulty presuppositional fallacy as justification for gain of function research.

It’s slick and sophisticated reasoning ,

but misleading,

probably intentionally a bait and switch con,

and false.

Jmho.
