It wasn’t that long ago that Mitt Romney was threatening former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard for suggesting the US was funding biolabs in Ukraine.
Back in March 2022, RINO Senator Mitt Romney accused former Democrat Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of spreading ‘treasonous lies’ for simply talking about the US-funded biolabs in Ukraine.
“There are 25+ US-funded biolabs in Ukraine which if breached would release and spread deadly pathogens to US/world.” Gabbard said at the time.
“We must take action now to prevent disaster. US/Russia/Ukraine/NATO/UN/EU must implement a ceasefire now around these labs until they’re secured and pathogens destroyed,” she added.

Tulsi Gabbard made her statement based on testimony from the Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs in Eurasia, Victoria Nuland.
Victoria Nuland admitted during testimony before a US Senate committee the existence of biological research labs in Ukraine.
Less than 24 hours later, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said that reports of biolabs in Ukraine were fake news propagated by Russia.
The Democrat-fake news-media complex then attacked anyone who brought up the biolabs in Ukraine.
Mitt Romney lashed out at Tulsi Gabbard, saying, “Tulsi Gabbard is parroting false Russian propaganda. Her treasonous lies may well cost lives.”
Then this happened– Russia released alleged captured documents from Ukraine exposing evidence of US Military Biolabs in Ukraine.
Russia made the accusations in front of the United Nations General Assembly.

Another ‘tell’ in this story is that the labs were funded by DARPA. Now why is the military in bio-lab work if not to develop biological warfare weaponry? The plan was likely to release the avian flu first to soften up the adversary, AKA, Russia. Remember, NATO has admitted the discussions and promises made to the Russians were only delaying tactics to allow Ukraine time to get on a more solid war footing. Unfortunately, Putin jumped the gun and disrupted their war prep agenda by cutting short the avian flu release part of the plan.
I think this is way overblown.
If I remember correctly after the crash of the soviet regime all these labs were full of excellent scientists that were not getting paid and the labs could not be maintained. The US stepped in for a couple of reasons. One have these folks work for us and two, get the research that they were working on. So we kept paying them and the Russians government was pissed we took all the research that we’re hiding there. Yes, I believe that there is some pretty bad stuff they were working on but many bio labs play with some very dangerous stuff to find ways to mitigate them. So Russia is playing the scare card that they likely started years ago. The Russians put the labs there if defecation hits the rotator so they had deniability and lessen the affects on Russia and the US did not want future issues like Wuhan and keep talented people busy on important research.
Also there was a worry at the time to keep them from going to Iran.

The U.S. government has been working on Coronavirus as a biological weapons platform since 1965, and they had the chimeric virus and "vaccine" ready-to-roll long before the plandemic.

ANY news from the Russians or Ukrainians is suspect. Then it gets filtered through the US or Brit media. Another opportunity to either veil the truth or pass on made up fabrications.
None of the news that comes out of that part of the world is to be believed.
There are bio labs all over the US. Just about every Medical School or moderately sized hospital complex and research facility has bio labs.
Ukraine is not a sub Saharan, third world country. Why wouldn’t they have bio labs?
This whole line of thinking simply points to the gullibility of the Russian people and the ignorance of their fan base.

In congressional testimony this week, Ms. Nuland, the under secretary of state for political affairs, was asked by Senator Marco Rubio, Republican of Florida, whether Ukraine has chemical or biological weapons.
“Ukraine has biological research facilities which, in fact, we are now quite concerned Russian troops, Russian forces, may be seeking to gain control of,” she responded. “So we are working with the Ukrainians on how they can prevent any of those research materials from falling into the hands of Russian forces should they approach.”

I’s amazing it hasn’t gone further. If what he says is not true, it would be easy to prove. His references are historical patent filings. So I’m thinking it is true.

Of course it’s overblown. Yes, initially there was concern the Ukrainian scientists might be tempted by offers from Iran, Iraq or other bad guys if not given proper paid positions in Ukraine. In addition, almost every country on the planet has biolabs for surveillance of emerging diseases. We fund or help fund (andcrun) quite a few in countries that cannot properly fund and run them on their own. These are the types of biolabs Ukraine has.
When Nuland said what she said as quoted in post #75 on this thread it was just more of her fear-mongering. She had already been claiming the dastardly Russians were going to use chemical and biological weapons, blow up a nuclear plant, etc. She couldn’t wait for her little drama queen moment of speculating how the wicked Russians would get hold of stuff in those labs ... and ... gee, how evil Russians are.
Now the Russians are turning that around on her and throwing it back in her face. Typical tit-for-tat propaganda stuff. Propaganda flying both ways.
