Despite previously having no issues with 3.3 million listeners for a Twitter Spaces event with BBC, it only took a few hundred thousand listeners for the collaboration between Ron DeSantis and Elon Musk to end in abject failure.
The goal was for DeSantis to use the edgy and cool Twitter Spaces tech to launch his campaign. The outcome was an embarrassing display of a billionaire funded national campaign trying too hard to launch a candidacy built on transparent fraud and political pretense. The memes coming from the disastrous event are hilarious, and very fitting.

DeSantis peaked when he joined Trump in opposing World War 3. Then he received orders to flip, and 3 days later he flipped to the pro-war side. Since then it’s been a straight-down path.
Very sad, and at a minimum he needs to sue his handlers for destroying his political career, as his performance in Florida would have been a great jumping off point...but only when the time was right, and when he was ready.
DeSantis is a McCain Republican.

DeSantis said that again tonight on Fox News, that he didn't think we should be hung up in a war between Ukraine and Russia.

Yep, he made the mistake of trusting the Hate-Filled Ukrainians infesting the State Department.
However, Trump has NEVER supported this war and wants it to end, unlike, literally every other Republican, starting with Ted Cruz.
His ending the war platform is mealy mouthed equivocations.
