Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Peter Thompson dismissed Kari Lake’s lawsuit against the stolen 2022 Midterm Election late Monday night, following a three day trial exposing election misconduct and fraudulent mail-in ballot signature verification.

What the judge probably ruled was that she “failed to state a claim upon which relief can be granted”. In federal cases, this is known as Rule 12(b)(6). It means that, taking all of her evidence and allegations as true, the court cannot rule for her as a matter of law.

Maybe she gets a sympathetic panel of judges on appeal. Don’t bet on it.

Then why go through the show of a trial if they knew what her allegations were at the trial?

Why did the appellate court kick it back to the trial court if they knew this rule, too?

I think it's more like "the court cannot rule for her as a matter of law survival."

You need to discard your normalcy bias. Things are not normal. The judicial system is just another rat organ and no evidence was going to sway this judge. I know it is more comfortable to pretend there is still a semblance of the country you grew up in but it is just not the case.

This was to be expected . This judge was going to rule against Kari Lake no matter what using the time tested method of refusing to hear the case on it's merits and dismissing for a BS and false narrow interpreting of the law.

This issue is going to be settled in the Appellate courts.

Kari Lake will continue to fight and she will probably get rebuffed by the Az Supreme Court.

But she will have her day and all of the rejections of the new evidence of serious fraud that is coming out are having a serious effect on public opinion.

Over 2/3 of Arizonans think the election was stolen and that the system is unfair.

The Court ordered remedy will most likely be a redo of the election.

If the Court fails to rule on this, the People of Arizona will have the last say with a recall election.

There more evidence of fraud that is exposed, the more pissed off the voters and the greater chance Kari Lake has in a recall election.
