A new study just obliterated any doubts that Microsoft’s Bing is just as leftist and radical as its top competitor Google.
Media solutions company AllSides conducted a new analysis over a two-week period (March 9-22, 2023) finding that a whopping 83 percent of the news articles displayed on Bing News’ homepage “were from media outlets on the left.” But here’s the kicker: “Bing’s homepage displayed zero news sources rated Right or Lean Right by AllSides,” and only 13 percent of the sources displayed were from the “center.” The top 6 outlets that Bing comnmonly curated were sources that AllSides rated as “Lean Left.” The top sources on Bing News’ homepage included “The Associated Press (Lean Left) (17% of the content), USA Today (Lean Left) (15%), and ABC News (Lean Left) (13%).”
AllSides CEO John Gable blasted Bing in his comments to The Daily Signal. “‘People completely underestimate the dangers of bias when it comes to search engines. They think they are getting balanced information, and they’re not,’” Gable said. “‘Instead, they’re being thrown into divisive filter bubbles that make them confidently ignorant.’”

I dont use it.
Not only are the highly biased (its becoming worse), they have at the same time lost any claim to intellectual preeminence - for any topic covering anything in the general public discourse, they tend to provide the same cheap, cheesy and simplistic sources in their results.
I use Bing and I get both left and right. You are able to block what you don’t want to see. As for their search engine, I never had a problem.
What in the world is “Bing”? (sarc)
I also get better results with Bing then I did with Duck Duck Go
I found even Brave search was about as bad as Google and obviously Duck Duck Go is the same thing.
I read that Yandex was the least biased so I switched over to that. WOW! is it different when you type in any political subject. For example, if you type in something like “evidence of voter fraud in the 2020 election” Google and the other laughably biased search engines will give you the exact opposite - articles by the Corporate media and other slightly more obscure Leftist sources claiming there was no fraud. If you type that into Yandex, you will get articles showing you what you were looking for.
I sometimes listen to One Radio Network. I did an internet search for One Radio Network.
First result on yandex. Doesn’t appear on google.
It’s the first hit I get on google

It isn’t good. None of them are.
I went to test Yandex. Your recommend took me there. So I thought up a decent test and Yandex’d “sotomayor”, as I know there was a little bit of dirt on her recently for not recusing herself in a matter involving her publisher. Yandex had nothing but mundane sweet nothings about her.
Tried same on Google and at the top was the wise latinx, alongside Gorsuch, showing both to have not recused themselves when may they shoulda.
I guess it’s a crapshoot and we just have to screen and filter our own stuff. FReep is the best for this purpose, just not always at our fingertips.
MSN.com runs 80%-90% Left to Hard Left on its news Home Page.
Brave has a search engine. A bit better than Bing or Google in my opinion. search.brave.com
A.I. will fix that....
Google in and Bing out.
Programmed by socialists with earrings and ponytails and those are the guys.
Golly really?
I was playing around with those chat bots. I asked, “why does joe biden sniff children.”
It refused to answer saying “there are photos taken out of context.”
When asking the same wuestions about Trump, “Trump has a ling hostory of sexually assaulting women...)
Such BS.
You two get different results on Google.
Please note that Google tunes up the search results based on what they know about you.
If you use google maps in your car, have a Ring doorbell or a Nest thermostat, or move around the web using Chrome, they know a lot. They know when you’re home (Ring, Nest), they know where you are in your car (google maps, Android), and they know if you’re naughty or nice. ;)
Bkmk
I tried about 10 search engines, and all showed liberal bias. Except https://www.seekfind.org/ but which seems restricted in scope.
I’ve noticed that as well. A couple of times I have looked for an article that I know I remember reading but can’t find it on google even though I enter pretty much the exact headline of the article I read. I then look by using other search engines. Google is the worst when it comes to returning only the leftist point of view and very seldom do I find the article I remember reading. However, most of the others are almost as bad.
Years ago, Google was a great resource. However, over the past ten or so years, it has become a democrat-view regurgitating site. For instance, if you search for anything related to Trump, you are only going to get NYT, WaPo,The Hill, or Politico articles. And, you can imagine their point of view on anything he says or does.
