They admire Carlson because he articulates what they believe and takes the heat for them. He added thqat Fox's decision to fire Carlson empowers the leftists like AOC who have been baying for his scalp and gives Left control of the free flow of information.

This presupposes that Fox stood AGAINST the establishment. They hired Tucker to continue their Bushie legacy after O’Reilly left. Fox fired him because they ARE establishment.
