This is Marisa Maleck We both went to the University of Chicago Law School, were members of the Federalist Society (she was President), worked on class projects, and went to church together She ended up clerking on the US Supreme Court for Justice Thomas and was a Partner at King & Spalding Unfortunately I learned that she died unexpectedly earlier this week She was a brilliant lawyer, a devout Catholic, a loyal friend, and a courageous warrior for conservative values I was planning to reach out to her soon to reconnect, but unfortunately now I can’t She was as kind as she was successful and I just want the world to know that we recently lost one of our best To those that knew her, I believe we can take comfort knowing where she is right now. May God bless and comfort her family and welcome Marisa into His Kingdom

I went to U of C undergrad for a while. One of my friends in freshman year went to the law school and wound up clerking for Brennan (!) and Souter (!!). You can guess we were incompatible politically, but he said what he thought.
Your friend did MUCH better in her clerkship. Unfortunately, when she was at U of C, the Institute hadn’t opened up their church near the law school, and she probably had to settle for St. Thomas the Apostle on 55th (unless she could make it to St. John Cantius).

I have often said I will only take the shot after
all Democrats have. I would not want to deprive a Democrat
of a life saving vaccine. Democrats are way important than I am and I’m an old man.

At my VA clinic they ask the the same question and the nurse always says I have to ask these questions. She has my shot records.
My impression is most veterans refuse the shots
my last vaccination was for tetanus, I have cattle and horses.

2. knew too much on the Clintons, or
3. was on a DC lobbying firm trying to shut down the Ashley Madison website.
Prayers. Very sad. And the country needs conservative lawyers. She had to be good to clerk for Thomas.
