Moldovan Foreign Minister Nicu Popescu expressed solidarity with Ukraine and thanked Ukrainians for defending their country and also defending Moldova.
He made this statement during the Black Sea Security Conference of the International Crimean Platform in Bucharest, reports Censor.NЕТ with reference to informational source Іnterfax-Ukraine.
“We in Moldova stand in deep solidarity with Ukraine and are grateful for the confrontation. To the Ukrainian people, to the Ukrainian leaders, to the Ukrainian army for their ability to resist and defend Ukraine, but also defending Moldova,” Popescu said.
He emphasized that it is in everyone’s interest to see Ukraine’s victory.
Popescu also assured that Moldova will do “everything it can to help Ukraine win and liberate its territories.”
As a reminder, the First Black Sea Security Conference is taking place in Bucharest as part of the International Crimean Platform.

Microsoft President Brad Smith said a digital threat analysis team recently discovered an attempt by the Wagner group and Russian intelligence to infiltrate gaming platforms such as Discord.
In his opinion, the Russians partly use game communities, in particular Discord, to publish information and distribute it. He said his company was advising governments on the matter.
Smith called for a national strategy to strengthen cyber defenses using artificial intelligence, citing threats from China and Iran.
I decided ro listen to 2) and found a 3 minute video with no subtitles and audio too quiet for me to hear. However next was a 20+ minute video that went into great detail on how Putin retains his popularity. Basically it is by subsidizing a failing pension system. This video paints a vivid picture of this as a fatal system that appears unlikely to last much longer. There are lessons here for us and the rest of the West too.
