On Thursday's Morning Joe, BBC correspondent and Morning Joe regular Katty Kay bemoaned that Dobbs and other court rulings restricting access to abortion represent a "blow" to the American tradition of expanding rights to those without power.

It apparently doesn't occur to the clueless Kay that the most powerless of all are unborn children, and that limiting abortion expands their right to live. Ever heard of a movement called "right to life," Katty?

The abortion issue will absolutely decimate the GOP. This is because after they claimed that it was a states rights issue, they then turned to judge-shopping to try to force through federal bans because they could not win at the ballot box. Being liars is going to cost them.

There is a movement under way to enable people to have kids without having to rent or live on the dole forever, and that is multigenerational housing. Basically an extended family of three or more generations move in together, and the young couple gets free daycare and much nicer housing than they would ever have otherwise. This is what the GOP should be getting behind!

Well, it’s kind of tricky. In the Roe decision, it was decided, that if you held your mouth just right, you could see the ‘right to abortion’ hiding in the penumbra of an implied, but not stated, right to privacy found in the fourth amendment. Apparent;ly the Justices in the more recent ruling failed to hold their mouths just right and didn’t see it.
