“Republicans step on a rake...Again” would be a perfect headline.
This was a case of “we didn’t think this through very well”. So when the expelled and reappointed assemblyman comes back, give him absolutely no committee assignments nor anything else and make it clear that he is to have ONLY voting privileges when bills come up in the full House. Don’t even recognize him for floor speeches.
This wasn't to quell protests.
This was to establish a precedent that radicals cannot take over a legislature with a bull horn.
There is only one definition of victory, and that is unconditional surrender. There is only one method that elicits unconditional surrender, and that is complete and utter destruction. To win, we must become like Boaz when he was single.

You are the kind of stock that the Republican Party has been made of for far too long, and why this nation is in the mess it's in. Start growing a set, along with a spine. If we go down, at least we did it as men, and not sheep being led to slaughter.
That’s because the republicans are like weak parents with a strong willed defiant two year old who has learned that if he doubles down on his temper tantrums, the parents eventually give in.
If republicans actually showed some manhood and refused to be manipulated by the left’s temper tantrums and name calling, things would change, but at this point since they’ve showed themselves so weak, it’s going to take a very strong and determined and unyielding stand to show the democrats that this time it’s going to be different, that they really do mean business.
I don’t know if there are enough Republicans with enough manhood to do that.
