Counting chickens before they are hatched can lead to severe disappointment.

Ukraine spent the winter and spring staying defensive, surviving the winter, training and getting more equipment. A slow steady trickle is easy to make fun of, until all the buckets are full.

Russia stayed on the attack using the same operations as before, and did not correct their weaknesses. It was just more of the same. Russia paid dearly for every foot and they really did not gain much.

Ukraine may not have 200,000 troops trained. They have enough that Prigozhin is worried about it. He is worried about the number, their training, equipment, and motivation compared to his men.

That is not good news for Russia.

Biden only spent 200 billion, the other 20 billion was his cut.

“”Europe won’t even get its military spending up to 2% of the GDPs””

There are 31 countries in NATO and some that aren’t, which ones do you mean?

As of March 2023, I mean all of the deficient ones shown in blue, in the following article:

In this case, red is bad.

As we aren’t supposed to post Bloomberg, this is taken from Reuters:

NATO countries that meet or exceed 2% GDP spending on defense:

“Greece, the United States, Lithuania, Poland, Britain, Estonia and Latvia”

My chart says 9, with Finland that makes 10.

Did you mean that ‘some’ NATO countries had not yet met the 2014 goals or that “”Europe won’t even get its military spending up to 2% of the GDPs””/

In Ukraine, I would like for the people who own the land, to recover their land from the Russians; and I would like the Russian forces to leave the Ukraine.

But, at this time, I think that Ukraine should store up its military power, merely to be able to hang on to what land it currently has.

I suspect, that an offensive to try eventually take the Crimea, will require more than Ukraine is willing to pay (even with foreign aid material) - and such an offensive will weaken Ukraine’s chances of hanging on to Kharkiv.

I expect Russian forces to make a major effort to either take Kharkiv or destroy Kharkiv. I expect Russian forces to continue to destroy whatever targets that such forces can reach in Ukraine - from wherever Russian forces are - because that is Moscow’s will: to destroy.

Probably time is on the side of Moscow.

The Ukraine military is plenty aware of the worldwide volunteer effort to supply electric generation, food, and medical assistance to Ukraine; but the Ukraine military continues to ignore how much the frontine units need mobility (and that, on a large scale, in reserve).

Ukraine needs to be able to defend, with whatever strength that it now has and can acquire - without being disgruntled about not getting what it wants, to the point where it does not get much.

Meanwhile, I doubt that Ukraine infantry are aware of how tentative the Biden and other leftists’ “aid” is.

I suspect that the recent “leaked documents” were presentation materials used at any of the DC Beltway “think tank” -type organizations, that somebody photo-copied and released online (purposely or incidental to a soft-hack).

Kudos! :)
Especially appreciate your analysis.

POINT 1 “Meanwhile, I doubt that Ukraine infantry are aware of how tentative the Biden and other leftists’ “aid” is.”

This has always been a concern of mine as Biden has arranged & received so much $ from Putin & his agents in Ukraine.

POINT 2 “I suspect that the recent “leaked documents” were presentation materials used at any of the DC Beltway “think tank” -type organizations, that somebody photo-copied and released online (purposely or incidental to a soft-hack).”

My hubby just mentioned tonight how suspicious & beneficial for D.C. to plant this info.

Hold up… we were told that Putin was “literally out of options” last December. How could this be?

You’re lies are being exposed, so now you are doubling-down with more verbose, lying, virtue-signaling double-speak.

It’s over. You’ve been exposed. Go away.

I’ve read some well formulated opinion and discussion that if the US had stayed out of WW1 that the outcome would have been much more balanced and negotiated which in turn would likely have out far less pressure on Germany and probably not led to the circumstances that allowed Hitler to rise to power

In other words the majority of the problems of the 20th century could mostly be attributed to Woodrow Wilson

Our ancestors left Europe for reasons and europes problems should remain their own

This is a typical Russian approach to war. Throw bodies and more bodies and more bodies, even in the face of 3 to 1 kill ratios. Keep doing it until the other side runs out of soldiers.

For Ukraine to WIN they need a kill ratio of closer to 8 to 1
For Ukraine to STALEMATE they need a kill ratio of about 5 to 1
Anything less and Ukraine runs the risk of loosing.

However, there is the possibility of dragging out the conflict until Putin succumbs to what ever illness is causing him problems.

Wasn’t there a high level pentagon document leaked the other day that placed Russia dead at 17,000 and Ukraine dead at over 40,000? I’m pretty such there was so I think I’ll go with that.

No, the document ‘leak’ was provided courtesy of leaked Ukraine War plans spread through a Minecraft Discord server within gaming community: War Thunder. According to Bellingcat researcher Aric Toler, the early document leak was an unofficial Minecraft Discord server US and NATO plans to support Ukraine’s military effort against the Russian invasion.

Supposedly, there were also two different sets of estimate spread on Russian Telegram channels: one indicating that Ukrainian combat losses are much lower than those of Russia, and an edited image showing them as much higher! ing that Ukrainian combat losses are much lower than those of Russia, and then an edited image showing them as much higher.

Later, the actual leak point on another Discord server was the actual leak point by Discord user named Lucca.
Lucca claimed to have found an archive of more than 100 classified files on a now-deleted Discord server, and posted more than 30 of them to a YouTuber’s Discord server over March 1-2. On March 4,

Ten of these files were posted to a Minecraft Discord, and then three in early April ending up on 4chan and five were posted on Russian Telegram channels!

“Europe needs its own Military Industrial Complex to help Ukraine. Biden has fizzled out”

TOTALLY AGREE!
IF FROM DAY ONE Biden had sent Ukraine jets, helicopters, tanks, and missiles this Russian Invasion would be over by now. Instead, Biden insisted on slow walking aid. Many thousands are dead unnecessarily on BOTH sides thanks to BIDEN.

This further reveals the ‘PUTIN, Biden, H.Clinton, Obama, B.Clinton criminal syndicate totally supported by Dirty Harry Reid & corrupt Nancy Pelosi. Zelensky is still left trying to remove this corrupt POLITICAL SYNDICATE dirty money laundering with “deep state” embedded Russian agents in the Ukrainian gov’t.

POINTS OF INTEREST:
1. WHY PRESIDENT BIDEN Will End Up Giving Putin What He Wants In Ukraine
Forbes
https://www.forbes.com/sites/lorenthompson/2022/01/06/why-president-biden-will-end-up-giving-putin-what-he-wants-in-ukraine/?sh=2c60d204e3a2

Quote:
“Biden’s team, led by Secretary of State Antony Blinken, tells a brave story about why any such guarantees are off the table, but in the end the administration will give Putin most of what he wants.”

Biden & Co. just won’t admit publicly that is what’s happening.

2. FORMER PRES BILL CLINTON
Pres B. Clinton signed the Budapest memorandum along with the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, confirming their commitment to Ukraine:
1. respect the Independence and Sovereignty
and the existing borders of Ukraine.
2. reaffirm their obligation to refrain from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of Ukraine.
3. The United States of America, the Russian Fed-
eration, and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and
Northern Ireland, reaffirm their commitment to refrain from economic coercion designed to subordinate to their own interest the exercise by Ukraine of the rights inherent in its sovereignty and thus to secure advantages of any kind

3. BILL & HILLARY CLINTON, Sec of State
Clinton Foundation: Charity Navigator put the Clinton Foundation on its “watch list,” due to questions raised in the media about foreign donations to the foundation and the potential for quid pro quo when Hillary Clinton was secretary of state, i.e. The Times reported in an explosive piece on Thursday that Canadian records show the chairman of Russian-owned Uranium One gave over $2 million in donations to the Clinton Foundation.

The Hill reported that Russian officials engaged in a “racketeering scheme” to further its energy goals in the U.S. And, an FBI informant told congressional committees that Russia paid millions to a U.S. lobbying firm in an effort to influence then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to make sure the deal was successful.

PRESIDENT Bill Clinton also received a $500,000 speaking fee in Russia and reportedly met with Vladimir Putin around the time of the deal. The FBI had looked into the agreement and uncovered that some Russian nuclear industry officials were engaged in nefarious dealings, which included extortion, bribery and kickbacks, The Hill reported.

EVIDENCE of wrongdoing by Vadim Mikerin, the Russian official overseeing Putin’s nuclear expansion in the U.S. who was eventually sentenced to prison. Author Peter Schweizer – who wrote about the deal in his 2015 book “Clinton Cash”

Campbell said Russian nuclear officials “told me at various times that they expected APCO to apply a portion of the $3 million annual lobbying fee it was receiving from the Russians to provide in-kind support for the Clinton’s Global Initiative.” APCO Worldwide is a global public affairs consulting agency.

“The contract called for four payments of $750,000 over twelve months,” Campbell said in the statement. “APCO was expected to give assistance free of charge to the Clinton Global Initiative as part of their effort to create a favorable environment to ensure the Obama administration made affirmative decisions on everything from Uranium One to the US-Russia Civilian Nuclear Cooperation agreement.”

PRESIDENT OBAMA
Remember President Obama got caught in a hot mic private conversation telling outgoing Russian president Dmitry Medvedev that Vladimir Putin should give him more “space” and that “after my election I have more flexibility.”

4. President Obama: “On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved but it’s important for him to give me space.”

President Medvedev: “Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you…”

President Obama: “This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility.”

President Medvedev: “I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir, and I stand with you.”

5. BIDEN
President Biden and his allies raked in campaign cash from a top Russia lobbyist in 2020, just months before his administration’s decision to scrap sanctions on a controversial firm building a Russian oil pipeline to Germany.

The Switzerland-based Nord Stream 2 — controlled by an ex-East German stasi officer and close ally of Vladimir Putin — is currently engaging in sanctionable activity, according to the State Department. Biden ultimately declined to enforce sanctions, citing US national interests.

CRITICS worry the project will ALLOW RUSSIA dangerous influence over European energy supplies and increase their overall political leverage on the continent.
