He never got it. He supported the largest budget increases to the CIA, FBI, doj etc. He helped expand the prison of America.
The DoJ needs to be funded to some extent because federal laws need to be enforced at the courthouse.
The FBI is dispensable. Indian tribes have their own police forces, or could have. DC has its own police force. States can go after bank robbers.

Replace the entire top leadership of the DOJ and FBI yes, that is the thing to do. Calls to “Defund” the DOJ & FBI will backfire on us just as the “defund the police” is backfiring on the Dims.

If they arrest Trump over classified documents, the legality of a Biden presidency becomes a legal issue.
Biden is in my opinion ineligible because of his Brady Bill Amendment XIV, Section 3 rebellion against the Bill of Rights (Amendment II, Amendment IV right to be secure in one’s effects).

Just a reminder of how disgusting the GOP is, when they had the majority in the Senate during Trump’s turn, they had their own “Russia Collusion” investigation going on that continued even after the Mueller investigation concluded. When Lindsey Graham was asked about it, he said, “Let it play out”. Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, fought harder against Trump than they ever fought against 0bama.
