Communist ‘rules’ look familiar today

Does this sound familiar to you, the public?

In May 1919, at Dusseldorf, Germany, Allied forces captured a very significant document: “Communist Rules for Revolution.” As you read these “rules” now, over 100 years later, keep in mind what you are reading and hearing every day in the news media:

A. Corrupt the young; get them away from religion. Get them interested in sex. Make them superficial; destroy their ruggedness.

B. Get control of all means of publicity, thereby:

1. Get people’s minds off their government by focusing their attention on athletics, sexy books, plays and other trivialities.

2. Divide the people into hostile groups by constantly harping on controversial matters of no importance.

3. Destroy the people’s faith in their natural leaders by holding the latter up for contempt, ridicule, etc.

4. Always preach true democracy, but seize power as fast and as ruthlessly as possible.

5. By encouraging governmental extravagance, destroy the credit, produce fear of inflation with rising prices and general discontent.

6. Promote unnecessary strikes in vital industries, encourage civil disorder and foster a lenient and soft attitude on the part of the government toward such disorders.

7. By specious argument cause the breakdown of the old moral virtues, honesty and sobriety.

C. Cause the registration of all firearms on some pretext with a view to confiscating them and leaving the population helpless.

Think about it people, you are now living it.

Yeah, but the 45 Goals is fact. It's in the Congressional Record (1963). And it started in the 60s. Website: Beliefnet: Communists let us know they were going to hijack the USA.

And they did it. They told us ahead of time, and we were too stupid and lazy and arrogant to do anything about it.

From their agenda as recorded by Congress in 1963: (Edited for brevity)

15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

18. Gain control of all student newspapers.

19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.

20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions.

21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.

22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”

23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”

24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a “religious crutch.”

28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”

29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

Those are a mere portion of their strategy. They warned us. They bragged about it. And we let them.

Reading it, I had the feeling that the author was good at predicting the past. But what was manifest in 1946 is still applicable today.

It does not matter who wrote it, or for what reason they wrote it, it’s still true.

It does matter. Should we go around quoting an amateurish hoax as if it were genuine, even though there's no evidence in support of its authenticity, and considerable evidence against? If we do that, then the left can make the issue whether this was actually promulgated by Communists in 1919, thus distracting from the real issue of whether these things are going on now.

Hey, I just found another set of Communist rules. One of them is "Put out hoaxes that will appeal to anti-Communists, so that our enemies look like jerks."

For years the US commies ran Gus Hall for President of the US.
The commies have NEVER changed their position. However, now they support the Democrats as the democrats have moved into the commie area of politics.
Today a vote for democrats is a vote for the commies.

It was funny to watch old Soviet news broadcasts and portrayed Gus Hall as a bigshot political figure in the US, when 99.9% of the US population didn’t even know who he was.

These communist points were also entered into the US congressional Record of June 10,1963, they gave us a heads up but we were and still are asleep at the switch.

This is why I asked for “a valid ORIGINAL source for the authenticity of the piece (and NOT a column or letter to the editor claiming to have found it somewhere else).”

You refer me to a book from 1958. Where did that author (Skousen) get it?

These things follow a pattern. A phony quotation arises, either through deliberate fabrication or because someone mistakenly thought that a summary/paraphrase was a verbatim quotation. Once it’s out there, it gets recirculated, each user relying on someone else, but no one having an original source (because there is none). That someone put it in a book is not proof.

The equivalent on the left was the fake Hitler “law and order” quotation, which falsely attributed to Hitler some views that were similar to those of 1960s-70s Republicans. https://www.bartleby.com/lit-hub/respectfully-quoted/adolf-hitler-18891945/ That one even got made into a poster that adorned some college dorm room walls.
