I love his series of almond blossoms... I have the red one hanging on my wall... I was thinking of hanging this blue one to complement it. He was inspired to these by Japanese textile prints... he had a great appreciation of Japanese art... his move to the South of France was because he believed the sunlight there was similar to that of Japan.
‘Almond Blossom’ hung in my bedroom for many years. My sister wanted it, so I traded her for an Andrew Wyeth. ;)
