It may be true that the Nashville shooter carried an AR platform (with a super-scary Arm Brace attached,) S/He/It used a Kel-Tec SUB2000 pistol-caliber carbine chambered in 9x19mm for the actual shooting.

So the presence of an AR is not germane to the discussion.

Figures. Blame the AR-15 when one wasn’t even used. But the Kel-Tec would also be listed as an “assault weapon”.

...with a super-scary Arm Brace...

I think it was a stock. Barrel length would have made it legal, from the photos I’ve seen.

You make an excellent point, although it doesn’t mean a hill o beans to the gun grabbers.
I know it’s a little off topic, but here’s an article I stumbled onto concerning the shooter:
https://boingboing.net/2023/03/28/before-school-shooting-in-nashville-shooter-warned-a-friend-who-tried-to-warn-police-but-was-ignored.html

I wonder what major news outlet is going to bring this to light.

And I keep seeing this “statistic” that there have been “128 mass shootings” so far this year.

How are mass shootings being defined by the MSM?
