President Trump has said for years that the entire thing was a lie. Now he somehow obtained a letter from Stormy Daniels showing her signature and stating that she never had a relationship with Donald Trump.

Obviously Russian disinformation.
“So Michael Cohen paid her $130,000 out of his own pocket for nothing?
Did Cohen actually think he could get Trump to reimburse him for that, knowing that the “exoneration letter” was out there?”
I could be wrong, but I think that her providing this letter was probably part of the agreement for which she received that $130,000. At least, that makes more sense than thinking that even someone like Cohen would pay her without getting anything in writing that could be used to go after her if she kept telling stories to the media.
Absolutely. She never claims there was no payout, nor does she address why she received a payout. Here are some facts:
1.) Stormy Daniels and Donald Trump met several times in at least three different states.
2.) There was a 130,000.00 payment to Stormy Daniels shortly before the election. Michael Cohen paid it, he took out a home equity loan to pay it so it wouldn't be obvious even to his own wife.
3.) There was an NDA agreed upon as part of this payment. It's difficult to know for sure what parties and what exactly was agreed upon, or if Daniels and Trump were even the primaries, since they listed under pseudonyms. There is no evidence Trump ever signed.
3.) After the election, Cohen asked for and received reimbursement for that payment from Trump or an entity diretly related to Trump. Rudy Giuliani confirmed this.
4.) Cohen paid for, and was reimbursed in the same manner for, securing a second NDA from a different porn star purportedly linked to Trump in the same time frame.
5.) None of the above is illegal on its own, even if Trump was engaged in multiple affairs with porn stars and paid for their silence himself. Maybe embarrassing, but not illegal.
6.)The only potential illegality here is if somehow the timing of the payouts and the nature of the funds used to pay for the NDAs constitutes a campaign contribution that was either hidden or misrepresented. This was investigated and not prosecuted at the federal level where it would actually make sense.
That letter looks as genuine as a statement from Bill Clinton say he “didn’t have sex with that woman”
Worked for Dan Rather until Buckhead…
You forget Daniels has stated for the last 6 years she was going to bring out evidence tying herself to Trump guess what it never happened. In addition her own former lawyer is stating there is other evidence that is damaging to the prosecutions case that hasn’t seen the light of day.
There is still no direct evidence that these two ever had sex other then she ran into him at a golf tournament.
“....a letter from Stormy Daniels showing her signature and stating that she never had a relationship with Donald Trump...”
Not that he wouldn’t like to!😎
Well, if true, that’s one of the things she was paid to do.
you know that how?
You do understand that whether or not the two of them ever had sex at all is irrelevant, right? Not even Alvin Bragg is trying to litigate this point.
There was a payout. There was an NDA. Trump reimbursed Cohen for the payout. These are things that Rudy Giuliani openly confirmed to the press and there's no reason not to, because none of that was illegal.
Bragg is trying to drum up an allegation that the payout itself was illegal because it covered up a crime, but even if the worst version of this story is true, there's still no crime. The feds looked for one for years and didn't find one.
I think we will find out that it was actually Cohen that had the affair with Stormy.
All I ever wanted in life was to be a part of a tight knit group of guys that would take care of their hooker bills for each other. Plausible Deniability I guess?
So you prove my point they were never together and she was pretty much making it up for a quick buck. Thanks
What a stupid response.
"Stormy Daniels" is her legal name.
