Next Thursday (March 23rd) declared another day of strikes and protest in France but new strikes and protests already launched en masse following President Emmanuel Macron's pulling of the trigger on pension reform.
Fearful that a majority would not endorse the change of the retirement age from 62 to 64 and the shuffling of benefits, Macron went for the nuclear option of using Article 49.3 of the French Constitution....

Actually, Macron is the radical. He unilaterally initiated a law increasing the age of retirement using the emergency power reserved for national defense. And if this stands watch other socialist democracies in Europe do the same and America not far behind. Can’t keep going to the well to pay illegals without running out eventually.
Why was Macron desperate enough to act like a dictator? What’s in it for him?
To maintain the status quo with he and his followers in power hoping people die before being able to collect their pensions and that the pyramid scheme of their social security program adds more money via more contributions.
