My Social Security System would still require a mandatory savings requirement. My libertarian tendencies notwithstanding. 10% to a ROTH IRA. NO withdrawals until age 59. Rice and beans only to the starving. Deport illegals to the blue states or back to Mexico. No unemployment insurance. It’s gonna be awesome!

I think you raise a good point and sadly I am not hopeful for the future as you may be. The children have been miseducated and as Samuel Clemens was attributed to have said, it’s much easier to deceive a people than to convince them that they’ve been deceived. We are in the position of convincing a nation of 350 million people that they’ve been deceived. I don’t believe that is possible. So the media will manufacture a crisis after crisis until we’ve collapsed from economic malfeasance. The communists will step in with their simplistic and top heavy authoritarianism and we will have a king. The pendulum will have swung to the left as far as it can go. Then it will be time for the Yangs and the Khoms to war with each other until the arrival of the Enterprise.
