Last October there were multiple articles on Freerepublic about Germany scrapping, actually tearing down a wind farm. The absolutely delicious part of the story is not that the wind farm was old, needed replacement, upgrade, etc. No, no. The idiots had turned off many of the electricity-generating, very efficient nuclear electricity power plants. They recently decided to keep one of the still functioning nuke power plants. The delicious part of the dismantling the politically correct, woker than woke, 16th century wind technology is that underneath the wind farm is massive amounts of stored solar energy.....yes....good ‘ol coal.
While China, India, and other countries are digging for as much coal as possible, many countries are ignoring this very plentiful resource. In fact, South Africa already has 12 hour blackouts due to their closing of most of their coal mining. There are many articles with dire warnings. The Marxist ANC took power in the 1990s and nationalized the electricity-generation. If that wasn’t bad enough, they are embracing the insanity of Global Warming, Global Cooling, Climate Change, Climate Crisis, (the name keeps changing), and as a result their entire electrical grid is about to collapse.
Meanwhile, India just announced that they are ramping up their coal mining operations. They already produce 70% of their electricity from coal-fired plants. Their over a billion citizens want to enjoy all the benefits of electricity. From keeping humans warm when it’s cold, and cool when it is hot, to refrigeration, to modern health care, India has no intention of turning its back on a plentiful and clean resource. They have not adopted the insanity of the left, that a natural PLANT FOOD, C02, is pollution. The more C02 in the atmosphere, the greener the Earth becomes. Those ‘sequestrating’ C02 could be accused of starving the plants of our precious planet. The environazis are actually funding / creating companies whose sole purpose is C02 ‘capture.’ They will build pipelines to transport C02. No one will protest these pipelines. Imagine a future where humongous storage facilities, above and under ground, will be full of C02. I can see a future protest movement Free The Plant Food! Countries that do not release the plant food into the atmosphere will become international pariahs, shunned and boycotted.

I need to ask my beloved about that....though he is Amrican by birth he tends to keep an eye on things political and economical because his family came over from there.
He did tell me at one time that personal debt was transferred from one generation to the next....no escaping it...which I think is actually a good idea.
All we’ve been hearing is how Germany has been “weened” from Rusian gas. Nothing about the damage from this. Or who caused the weening.
Merkel has done to Germany what the allies could not even accomplish. And now Germany is a colony of the third world.
Germany without industry is like France without cheese nor wine or Saudi without Islam.
