American Thinker brought up this exact point a month ago.

Any Republican needs to be able to take the punches from the lame stream media and Democrats (but that statement in redundant).

Ron and Don are the only two candidates I can think of who can take take those punches and dish it right back.

Republican base wants a fighter, not another Romney.
