I disagree. The war started when the US (under the administration of Bath House Barry and Pedo Joe) instigated, created and funded a coup in 2014.

What the US did was the equivalent of Russia or China staging a coup and installing an hostile government in Mexico or Canada.

Whatever you think about Putin, what we have done is geopolitical styupidity. Causing the rest of the world to form a coalition against American led warmongering is not going to end well for us. Could be bad for everyone else as well, but I don't care about them.

If anyone wants to know what the aftermath of becoming dependent upon and then losing a colonial empire looks like, look at the depression in Portugal after they lost their colonies or England after the end of the Raj. It's not pretty.
