Some people think Tulsi Gabbard would be a great running mate for President Trump in 2024.
Some conservatives are appalled by that.
Her start was with Bernie Sanders, but in her post-Congress career she has spoken at CPAP, stood in for Tucker Carlson and campaigned for Republicans in the midterms.
In recent years she has taken a pro-life position on abortion and always angered liberals with her traditional gender identity views.
Her service in military police suggests the skills and personality that might help drain the swamp
Her criticism of Biden's warmongering, of cancel culture and of attacks on freedom sound as good to me as anyone's.
She's a babe.
She can ride a wave.
And she demolished Kamala Harris in the Democrat debates.
She is no Reagan yet.
But her Time For Choosing moment could come any day.
Don’t do a “Rubio” on her and start kissing her feet before really knowing who she really is - right now she’s just another opportunist with too many unknowns to start pushing up the ladder....if that changes, so will my “evaluation”...
“”There is a powerful historical precedent for Tulsi Gabbard’s transition from a Bernie Sanders Democrat to being one of the fiercest critics of Joe Biden’s warmongering abroad and attacks on freedom at home.
Between the 1930’s and the 1960’s, New Deal Democrat Ronald Reagan””
That is so utterly ridiculous.
How thick, or how liberal does a person have to be to think that being a democrat in the 1930s and 1940s and voting along with the state of Texas and then voting and campaigning for the republican president after 1948 is the same as becoming and being a democrat after the 1960s?
Having been a democrat under FDR and Truman and then switching to Eisenhower has no resemblance to people becoming democrats under Obama and Clinton, Jimmy Carter, Biden, Bernie Sanders, Pelosi, etc.
Look at the party politics, the party platforms, the culture wars, and abortion wars, gay marriage, feminism, anti-military, etc. how does that compare to what the democrats were in the 1930s and 1940s when Texas was still voting for them?
“too many unknowns”
Not concerned about the unknowns, it’s her “knowns” that are a disqualifier from the start. She’s not a friend.
Back then a Southern Democrat was much more conservative than a Northeastern Republican.
Sure, the democrat party had plenty of naturally conservative people before the 60s, but becoming a democrat in the 90s and 2000s and 2010s indicates that a person is vastly different than a 1948 Reagan, or your average Texan of 1944 or 1948.
Carter renounced his lifelong membership in the Southern Baptists and changed churches because of his anti-biblical politics.
Yep. He’s pro-homo marriage and supports abortion. What’s not to like? /sarc
“Keynote at The Convention?”
################
Great idea to have her speak at the Convention, but, IMHO, not the Keynote. I don’t quite trust her enough yet for that. I think that needs to go to more of a proven up-and-comer, like Byron Donalds, or Anna Paulina Luna.
In fact, the more I think about it, Byron Donalds would be great.
THANK YOU!!!
Gabbard is a heard NO!
She is an attractive liberal with some patriotism.
That is all.
The men here aren’t looking at her positions; she’s attractive.
I get so disappointed with FRmen, sometimes.
Thanks.. Did not even pick up on that.
Well yes, those seem to be the positions that matter.
Gentlemen, we have a Republic to keep. Get over it.
HARD no
one dimension of morality.
Fair assessment. But still would be evil..
“They all look alike.”
CPAP? Does no one edit this stuff?
Of course not. Kinda takes your breath away, don’t it?🤭
When Carter was POTUS, there were queers and faggots, Elton John, and Boy George.
LBQTXYZ were just letters scrambled from the alphabet.
That is so utterly ridiculous.
Be careful, your sanity is showing.😊
