President Donald Trump brought hope to the beleaguered people of East Palestine, Ohio today, coming to visit them when no major Biden Administration official has done so thus far. Trump announced over the weekend he would come to East Palestine to offer support for the citizens of the small town in the wake of the Train Derailment Disaster that has brought so much fear and uncertainty into the lives of the residents. Trump’s announced visit has gotten movement from Biden Officials, who have tried to downplay the entire incident. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has yet to visit the town, but says he will do so tomorrow. That likely would not be happening without Trump’s visit. Meanwhile, Joe Biden has been in Ukraine doling out funds. . . .

Trump is smart to seize the moment and grab this opportunity to speak directly to his supporters. The Dems left this door wide open for anyone to step up and be heard.

Reminds me of when President Trump bought all that fast food for the Little League champs visiting the White House early in his term. The snooty media mocked him for that, of course, but he said he was just giving the kids the kind of meal they want. Which was correct, of course.
