SOROS: 'DeSantis is shrewd, ruthless, and ambitious. He is likely to be the Republican candidate'
https://thepostmillennial.com ^ | 2/16/23 | Roberto Wakerell-Cruz

Globalist billionaire George Soros predicted that Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis will defeat former President Donald Trump for the GOP presidential nomination ahead of the 2024 election, and that Trump will run as a third-party candidate.

"This could induce Trump, whose narcissism has turned into a disease, to run as a third-party candidate. This would lead to a Democratic landslide and force the Republican Party to reform itself," Soros said at the 2023 Munich Security Conference, according to the Washington Examiner.

"DeSantis is shrewd, ruthless, and ambitious," Soros continued. "He is likely to be the Republican candidate." Trump, he said, "has turned into a pitiful figure continually bemoaning his loss in 2020. Big Republican donors are abandoning him in droves."

Soros, who is known for giving hundreds of millions of dollars to leftist causes, is the head of several networks and groups that promote social causes like climate change. He is also known to back soft-on-crime district attorneys.

Continuing on Trump, Soros said: "Trump is a deeply flawed character, a confidence trickster whose narcissism grew into a disease. He feels no commitment to democracy; democracy merely provides him with a stage on which to perform. As president, he was more interested in hobnobbing with dictators than in promoting democratic principles. Trump’s role model was Putin, who amassed a fortune while asserting total control over his country."

"Trump attracted a lot of non-educated white followers, but his biggest backers were the mega-rich — and he certainly delivered for them. First, he cut their taxes. Second, he nominated to the Supreme Court ideologues who embraced an extreme version of the Republican agenda. Third, he brought the Republican Party under his control by threatening those who didn’t swear loyalty to him with a challenge in the primaries," Soros said.

"Lastly, he encouraged Republican-controlled states to introduce outrageous measures of voter suppression to ensure that his party would remain in power indefinitely. With that program, he was almost reelected in 2020," he concluded.

DeSanctimonious, if he runs in the Primaries, will only alienate Trump voters by his Disloyal action, and in the process, hand the General Election over to the eventual Democrat nominee.

He’s right. Shrewd, ruthless, ambitious, and I would add calculating and treacherous. He has certainly please a lot of the base with his red meat undertakings in Florida, and I really liked him for that. But when he turned around and thought about running in 2024 rather than waiting, my weasel alerts went off. What a snaky thing to do. Even if he doesn’t like President Trump, recognize that the base does, and throwing his hat in the ring will bring chaos and division. Stabbing President Trump in the back when DJT is the ONLY reason he’s Gov is disgusting.

Were we to have a competent CIA, we’d not be hearing from Soros. He would have already heard from them.

Look Who Bailed Out Trump Towers AND Spent a Christmas Eve With Donald Trump… George Soros!

https://steemit.com/trump/@derpmcdergal/look-who-bailed-out-trump-towers-and-spent-a-christmas-eve-with-donald-trump-george-soros

Much has been made of the sometimes rather unsavory and somewhat shady business dealings and political donations that billionaire businessman and presidential candidate Donald Trump has made throughout his career.

https://conservativetribune.com/bailed-out-trump-towers/

However, a New York Post piece in 2009 noted that Trump spent Christmas Eve that year at a private party with Soros and liberal Hollywood director Oliver Stone, among others.

Perhaps worse than that, though, is the revelation that Soros essentially bailed out Trump in 2004 with a special high-interest “mezzanine” loan the real estate mogul needed to construct his Trump Tower in Chicago, according to the Chicago Tribune.

“Donald Trump has lined up three New York hedge funds, including money from billionaire George Soros, to invest $160 million in his Chicago skyscraper, a key piece in perhaps the largest construction financing in the city’s history, according to real estate sources and public documents,” the Tribune piece read.

George Soros is a bad person, a one world order and open borders believer whose Open Society Foundation has funded virtually every anti-American and anti-Israel group and movement around the globe.

While it is understandable that those in business will sometimes have business dealings with individuals and groups they likely don’t always agree with, palling around with said American individuals at a Christmas Eve party certainly doesn’t look good for a man running on a message of making America great again.

I'm a Trump voter, twice in fact.

That said, the purpose of a primary is to determine who the electorate supports for the nomination.

It's not a matter of loyalty, I want my candidate to be loyal to our fine Country, our wonderful traditions and way of life, and to his/her family.

Fealty toward a politician is wrong to demand, and really feudal.

With over a year to go before primaries begin, let's have some good debates. Then, we select and support our GOP nom.

Demented Biden has made many people scared of electing old people.

Biden used to be a very sharp guy.

There’s a problem here. He’s not Trump without the baggage. No, it is a lot worse and he will be beat over the head with it if he becomes the nominee:

https://tripod.domains.trincoll.edu/opinion/inside-ron-desantis-hidden-past-at-guantanamo-bay/

You can bet your bottom dollar he will be propped up as the alternative to Trump. Then if he wins the primaries the press will flog him with this material.

This is not the only place the story appears. Look up Mansoor Adayfi.

We don’t need surprises for the 2024 general election.

It makes no difference who runs or doesn’t run. The D candidate will win. They have it all sewed up now, unlike ‘16. The window is closing for R candidates to win the 270 electoral votes. Barring a sea-change in the rust belt states of PA, MI, and WI, no R will get it. No sign of any changes in those states.

That's high praise! No one gets to be president without ambition. The other two qualities help too.

Obviously the point is to sow discord. Only a dumb person would seriously think Soros actually like any republicans. Its the same playbook when they pumped up Trump in 2016. Were you saying the MSM loved Trump back then?

Republicans would do well to beware of advice from George Soros, who clearly has never had the best interests of the Republicans at heart, not even the RINOs, who themselves end up on a rocky reef, stranded and abandoned.

George Soros is expressing a wish, not a policy, and his predictions are based on arranging a double death match for DeSantis and Trump both.

Yep - Soros is definitely trolling to divide and conquer his and the Left's enemies.

And it is working based on some of the posts by some here. Doing exactly what Soros hoped for by making these statements publicly...assuming these folks are not trolls themselves.
