the system is wired up to artillery and various other up front and stand off munitions

That’s not how battle management systems work. They do not command munitions directly
Rather if you had read the wiki, you would have discovered that commanders using any device can see what is going on and talk to and command units - receiving information in real time from drones, satellites, etc. revealing positions and dispersion of friendlies and enemies.
Commanders can then issue fires, attacks, flanking, pull backs, depending on the overall situation - all of those actions are seen by brigade, battalion and unit command and control and likely back at DOD in Kiev.
All of the enemy’s actions and responses are also seen. UA can see what the Orcs are doing, but the Orcs are blind.
You make a good point about THE Netherlands.
In the 1959 version of THE Giant Gila Monster, two main characters are discussing the possibility of giant humans or animals. “Did you hear the report out of Russia or THE Ukraine about the baby that weighed XX lbs...”
Russian and Ukrainian speakers often have trouble with the use of “THE” and “a” when speaking English because such articles are not used in those languages. They also make Yoda-type syntax mistakes. Solzhenitsyn loved the Russian language and spoke of its “unrestrained syntax” (or ya can say it so many ways).
You are the one who is full of hate. Many of us have family and friends in Ukraine. I have family in the supposedly (according to you Bolsheviks) pro-Russian Donbas. It is funny how they are patriotic Ukrainians even though they are Russian speakers. You support the invasion and destruction of their hometowns. It is not a laughing matter for us. You are hate filled when you cheer the advance of the same old hammer and sickle flag that has brought death to so many.
“The UA just had its battle management system come on line a few days ago.”
That is going to help them make faster and better decisions, but it still needs to be teamed with sensors, and weapons capable of acting.
It does seem like the full spectrum of capabilities is being upgunned for the Ukrainians Spring offensive.
All those massed troops, armor and supplies should be a target rich environment for Uke munitions of one stripe or another.
True, however, UKR does not have long range weapons yet.
Unfortunately, GLSDBs won’t arrive for several months.
///////////
Don’t need the long range weapons when the russians are on offensive. they HAVE to bring their men material and equipment forward into firing range of the shorter range uke weapons
“you are not a christian.”
You are not an American.
You realize once the Russians have Bakhmat, it's over in Donetsk and Donbass?
There is absolutely NO chance of Ukraine taking back any lost territory. Continuing the war only means more dead Ukrainians, more lost territory and more wasted tax dollars.
“There is absolutely NO chance of Ukraine taking back any lost territory.”
Like Kherson?
Bucha?
Snake Island?
All of Kharkiv Oblast?
We have already passed the point where over 50% of the territory that Russian forces occupied since February 24th 2022 has already been taken back by Ukrainian forces.
The high point for Russia was the fifth week.
The scale of Western Military support for the Ukraine has skyrocketed in recent weeks. Even the Swiss have given up their complete neutrality, to allow their weapons to go to Ukraine. Not even Hitler could do that before. The scale of Russian Military losses is astounding - an Afghan War’s worth every month.
It is amazing to me to see Russians like yourself who are not only so willfully deluded, but so cock-sure about it.
When I look at it objectively, the scale of the disaster that Putin has brought onto Russia is truly historic. The hubris is so wildly out of place.
The only "wins" for the Ukraine are in areas the Russians abandoned that they see the strategic importance in defending and so they could fed more Ukrainians into their meat grinder.
Again -- ALL annexed territory will remain part of the Russian Federation. The only question is how much more territory, if any, will the Ukrainians lose.
When all that comes to pass, you're going to have a lot of explaining to do. Like, why have you constantly spread Biden regime propaganda and stood by the idiotic foreign policy of Victoria Nuland.
Why have you constantly spread Putin regime propaganda and stood by the atrocious war crimes of that mafia gang, even as they drive Russia over a cliff, and violate every single article of the Geneva Convention?
Lol just a rock, then why did they bother taking it In the first place
Assault on Kiev and then following good will gesture was what just a gift of tons of scrap iron and sunflower fertilizer
Kharkiv was a blood bath for Russia rivaling the failed Kiev attack
Kherson was definitely a good will gesture which is what army’s did when they are on the offensive and doing well
Last few months Russia has lost 1000s of pieces of equipment 10s of thousands of soldiers and gained a few meters and a couple of small utterly destroyed(by Russia) settlements full of Russian brothers as Putin would say.
Mobilizing 100s of thousands of new troops is necessary to defeat a defeated nation? Lol sounds right
Hey how about that bridge you claimed months ago was just slightly damaged lots of trains crossing that “slightly” damaged bridge right? Not so much and the factory that build parts for the bridge has had a smoking accident.
Russia has lost more equipment that they can ever hope to recover and besides the fact that they seem to love to attack with what they have in small groups that like to get close together to take selfies then get hit by one Excalibur taking them all out and their crews, any offensive action will be an attempt at ww2 style human wave attacks minus the overwhelming armor support.
The leopards are hungry bring it on
Lastly you may be right that Russia ends up with basically what they started with but I would bet against it. If Putin had just gone for those oblasts he might have succeeded without destroying his military, killing hundreds of thousands of his and and his fellow brethren Ukrainians and destroying vast swaths of Ukraine
But there are nazis so I guess it’s all good
From what I’ve read its is teamed with every available asset - drones, satellites, other sensor platforms. Wonder whose satellites they will be using ...
Again the system is NOT wired up!!!
Two of the most elite Naval Infantry brigades senselessly destroyed.
For those that don’t know, Naval Infantry Brigades have no armor, assault vehicles etc. They are light infantry only
“it (the new Ukrainian Battle System) is teamed with every available asset - drones, satellites, other sensor platforms.”
That is what I would expect as well. Fusing the feeds of multiple sensors to create a Common Operational Picture is the core challenge for a battle management system. We have been working on that for decades. By now, it should be pretty capable.
It can support a fast-paced war of maneuver, which does not seem to be what the Russians are wanting to fight. When the Ukrainian Armored/Mechanized counter-attack force is ready to launch, if they are also supplied with a lot of deep strike weapons, things could get considerably more exciting over there.
And with it, control of the Western Black Sea, the shipping lanes of Odessa, and undersea oil and gas fields.
The dying Moskva, flagship of the Russian Black Sea Flotilla.
3 years is ludicrous. Maybe to learn EVERY single nuance of the plane and all flight patterns, but certainly not to fly and operate it effectively. They are just trying to stall.
