Citizen Free Press @CitizenFreePres Reporter: "Do you think Ashli Babbit was murdered, or do you think the police officer who shot her was doing his job?"
McCarthy: "I think the police officer did his job."

He “did his job” and shot her because he and the half-dozen cops within 10 feet of her couldn’t physically restrain a woman calmly standing still!
She struck several law enforcement officers during her rampage-on-wheels. Again, their rules for use of deadly force allow for shooting into moving vehicles when the vehicle is being used as a deadly weapon. They felt her actions necessitated the force.
“She struck several law enforcement officers during her rampage-on-wheels.”
1. She was on foot.
2. She was unarmed.
3. She was standing still, threatening no one, with armed men in front of her and armed cops behind her.
4. Many LEO’s were struck by protestors that day, some used tools held in their hands. Why weren’t they shot?
I was not talking about Babbitt in the comment you were responding to. I was talking about another woman who was shot in 2013 by Secret Service. Miriam Carey.
I was starting to have hope for McCarthy. Oh well.
Yep. Time to move on.
He was responding to my post about an incident in Obama’s second term.
“Trump knew.”
He did know. Still, he endorsed KM.
“Ashli wasn’t bringing cookies to the Senators.”
She was unarmed. She was massacred.
Oops, sorry and thanks for the clarification!
That video shows a woman dying but no indication of what caused her death. The official cause was listed as drugs. I see no reason to dispute that given the video. Looks like someone who has just OD’d.
“You all want the Speaker of the House to call a Capitol Police Officer, who was cleared of wrongdoing, a murderer?”
Yep. And, since the Speaker is over the Capitol Police, he should start a big nasty investigation into the event. (And ... was the murderer actually “cleared”? Was there any investigation? I don’t recall hearing about one.)
Theres the Rino we all know and hate.
“IF that was my house,,,and I killed a woman breaking a window”
Technically, it IS your house. It’s “the people’s house”.
Two different scenarios. Nice try though.
I’d settle for him keeping his yap shut.
But ya, it was murder.
And why were the cops behind her doing NOTHING.
And WHY didn't that dude that killed her have a taser??
And just for the record..WHY are there people in jail....with no charges, no lawyers, no nothing...But locked up for months.
Unacceptable, totally.
