Paramount+ today debuted the official trailer for the third and final season of Star Trek: Picard

I watched season one. Too woke for me.
I love Star Trek, but I think they will try to weave some woke stuff into this last season. At some point Patrick Stewart said he wanted this series to be a message against Trump & Brexit.
I haven't seen one episode of Picard. The long form reviews from YouTubers I trust say it's dark, violent, full of profanity, and brimming with identity politics. It bears no resemblance to the positive outlook of real Trek.
Star Trek was really the first franchise the Wokesters got a hold of and destroyed. Now they destroyed Star Wars, Marvel, and even Willow!
Thankfully, the turnaround is coming due to the success of Maverick, Avatar, and House of the Dragon, and the failure of shows like Rings of Power, She-Hulk, and pretty much anything on Disney+.
I find it impossible to support Patrick Stewart and the liberal manipulation of what was once my favorite series. No Ben & Jerry’s, No Star Trek, no NIKE & no Disney.

Someone should tell Stewart that his job is to entertain. It is NOT his job to antagonize a large part of the audience.

The first episode has 7 of nine exposing her pronouns and “trans-ness”
They did a turnabout and hired a new show runner named Terry Matalas. He hired the whole Next Generation crew back for this last outing and dropped the whole first and second season storylines. This is all new. The villain is Christopher Plummer’s daughter, Amanda, who played in Pulp Fiction.

I doubt it, but a little is tolerable to me. I watched the 1st season and wasn’t put off by it. However, I hated the alternate realities nonsense of the 2nd season. I could get through half of the season. It was a mess. I
That was the case of the first two seasons. This time is totally different.
Trust No One. Especially Paramount.
They can trust me not to watch.
Picard Season One:
At least they got to the plot unlike STD, and didn’t focus 85% of the show on everyone’s, “Feels.”
Picard Season Two:
Watch the first and last episodes and ignore the middle unless you want your entertainment to slap you in the face about how you are a raciss Trump voting nazi who sucks.
Oh! And to quote Mr. Plinkett’s opinion of Picard:
“Star Trek used to be a show that made me have hope for the future of humanity. Now it just makes me want to stop taking my heart medicine...”
Fire Alison Pill, make Seven straight again, and get better writers.
Alison Pill is no longer with the show. Seven is now a first officer on a starship.
I had a class with a Professor Piccard in college. He had some very, very old black and white film of his father and mother firing off homemade rockets, pretty good sized rockets, some standing 4ft to 5ft in height. According to him, both were scientists. He taught Political Science classes, so he didn’t follow them into the hard sciences.
Sounds like the Doctor Who trilogy years ago...
